Spelling a bit different though. Was a close enough for me to work out actual name was Gaew (sounds a bit like Gail) before my first visit there, as it's a common Thai name. Maybe just another 10-15 mins.

I am guessing you have a short time limit to escape the wife, otherwise I don't really see the problem.

I have seen some sort of entertainment place intended for Thais looking sus in Sukhumvit close to Udom-suk but never tried it. Its a bit too close to home!

There is a Soapy in Theparak road, and other places in Sri-Nakarin, but perhaps none are close enough for you and certainly not close to the BTS.
