Hmm. We know this year beat last year while Trump's Pandemic was Crashing the USA economy and wiping out 10's of millions of USA jobs. Now we know it beat the year before that, too.
Also, whatever happened in 2017 is irrelevant to Trump because he and his Repubs hadn't passed even one significant economic "stimulus" legislation until a day or two before Christmas that year. So that wouldn't have been a factor by the time the 2017 Christmas shopping season was essentially over.
Even though I have not yet researched it, I'm guessing Trump's 2nd presidential year (2018) holiday season retail sales results were not as good as this first one under Biden either since the first of Trump's two Bear Market Crashes was raging in December of that year.
Therefore, it is for sure Sleepy Joe's first holiday season sales results were better than anything Trump touched with his disastrous economic stewardship in at least 3 out of his 4 years of the worst presidency of all time and quite probably beat all 4 of them.
