Takes a little time and money and chemistry and challenge. You have to close the deal quickly as they are only there for a short time usually. I would look at it as a plan be. The Filipinas are much easier. I have seen guys close the deal in under 15 minutes at LA Cafe.

The Korean guys will stand as far apart in the elevator and carry on a conservation, very loudly, in Korean but seldom do I see the women talking except to other Korean females.

Seems it's a choice for a purpose and not a cultural journey as such.

Issue I've run into in Thailand is the girls agree to LT but when they realize your going to be fucking them a good deal they try to make an excuse to leave, usually just to return to the bar and make more money on drinks. Fine by me because I just adjust their pay to a cheaper ST rate, is it the same in Manila?

LDs x 2 = 780 PHP.

Monger's beer = 300 PHP.

Bar fine = 3,900 PHP.

Girl's fee LT = 4,000 PHP.

The quality at Bottoms, Plan Be etc will usually be very high, although some girls will be average. The girls are more sophisticated than the country bumpkins you will see in AC. The Burgos girls will usually keep their end of the contract as you only hand them their portion of the money at the end. So LT will be LT. Another good thing is that at that price point, there will only be a few mongers about and hence less competition. Many of the mongers will be Middle Eastern.

In AC, the business model is flawed and is heavily in favour of the girls. The upfront payment includes both the bar fine and the girls fee, hence Mr Monger has no bargaining power. As the money has already been paid, the girls will usually run after 1-pop (despite promising LT during the interview). No need to tip a runner.

Juniors and subordinates are obligated to defer to elders and seniors; this is related to a strong hierarchical emphasis that extends back historically at least a thousand years to a succession of powerful dynasties that controlled all or most of the Korean peninsula. They have a saying that translates to "king, father, teacher"; this is a metaphor for the succession of obligations that a Korean must follow.

Particularly for younger women, part of the deference they may show to you is related to your age. Both young Korean men and women when they enter into any new situation that is not well defined with known rules and norms, such as in a new country, will revert to the first rule--which is deference to seniority, i. e., us old people. I assume that part of the dynamic of young Koreans' short-term visits is to be immersed into an English-speaking educational setting. It's much cheaper, and the visa easier to get, than going to the states or countries of the British commonwealth. So the young women you are encountering are probably fairly "fresh off the boat" and still adhere to their own native tradition about seniority.

If you were in close contact with a particular young Korean woman, your age and seniority could be played to advantage, except that their tightly-knit social groups make them afraid that any misadventure will soon be known by all their associates.

In addition, Korean culture is exclusionary. I and others have posted in the forum about how Westerners are almost entirely excluded from the mongering clubs that are well known to Korean elites. And when you meet Koreans on the street in Korea, even in Seoul, they will not make eye contact with Westerners unless they are introduced by a mutual acquaintance. This is true for men as well as women. I have tested this on a number of occasions: I intentionally make eye contact, but they will not reciprocate. I think there are some younger Koreans, especially those who have traveled to the West, who are beginning to loosen this and other traditions.

They will be loud and a little on the pushy side while the females are always very quiet, even when accompanied by loud Korean males. This of course may be my limited sample size and the fact that the males I notice have been here long enough to not follow the safe norm while I don't notice the quiet ones. A simple example of confirmation bias, reinforced by the fact that in all cultures males tend to be louder and more outgoing than females.

As you said Koreans tend to be exclusionary, they tend to stick together, for example I have never seen an obvious Korean have any social interaction with a non Korean. You would think that with students that there would be some mixing but not that I have observed. Never seen a discussion or even acknowledgement from a Korean to a non-Korean.

As a result of this discussion I did take a look at the Korean forums here to see if taking a long weekend there might be a good way to get my Korean itch scratched. What I found was a discussion on how limited the options were for foreigners and about bringing over a pina playmate.

Some will not budge under 2000 peso, but they stay all night. I have actually never met a girl in LA Cafe that do ST. If the chemistry is reasonably good and she do not have work in the morning she will be happy to stay all night and share a breakfast with you in the morning. Do not forget that these girls are desperate for money.
