This is not really true at all, as in all countries you have your working girls and non working girls. I mean if you meet a girl that works as a waitress in a restaurant, there is no reason to think she is out selling her body at night. Not that it doesn't happen, but married women in the US and elsewhere often meet other guys and go out to dinner etc and cheat on there husbands, it doesn't mean there full blown working girls. Life with women is tough no matter how you look at it. Working girls, divorce, cheating husbands and wives, its not easy out there!

I will say basically in every culture women are with men for the money. Not to many smart, goodlooking girls I know in the US wants some bum with no money.

I have been to Cartagena about 15 times in the past ten years and know a few Italians, English, and Americans married to a Colombiana. Me included. I agree that there are many as you described, but isn't that why they are there?
