Is there any site like TFMI where people has pointed out FLs from TF, and I can read reviews there?

Or can anyone tell if there's a way to read review in TFMI. Since I don't use that pattaya website which grants review access.

I don't normally visit Thailand in the middle of the year but will be back in Bangkok at the end of the month.

I like the concept of gogo bars, but historically prefer AC, as they are a bit easier on the ear drums and less crowded. Will I notice a significant reduction in how crowded the gogo's are compared to my last visit in December?

The going rate for girls hasn't actually kept up with the salary increases in the west, hence why you see more and more guys being willing to meet the price increases that the girls request. After spending a few weeks in Pattaya, I visited Bangkok for a few days. Here's my experience, limited time-wise, using Pattaya as a base for comparisons.

Nana Plaza. In the entrance to the complex, all men are required to queue and go through a checkpoint of sorts. Some are required to show an ID. The whole place is full of gogos. On weekdays, they were pretty much empty, and disappointingly similar to the run-of-the-mill gogos in Pattaya. Only Billboard was full. I'm not sure why it's so popular, but there was no pressure or even expectation to buy LDs. New customers are offered to sit next to the stage, but are then told to move away. It's the bar's policy to always keep one or two seats next to the stage empty to lure newcomers.

I barfined a girl from a gogo on the ground floor. She seemed to really like me, and I decided to give it a go. The whole way back to the hotel the girl (31 year old) was totally tensed up, I felt nothing good is going to come out of it. I tried hard to have her relax (for 45 minutes in total.), it did help a bit. But service was still atrocious. Once she realized I've given up on having a good experience and just thinking of how to finish the session, she started trying harder, but that was way too late. Things like this do happen in Pattaya, but mainly in beer bars. A 2/10.

All in all I have no reason to go back to Nana, not unless Pattaya disappears.

Soi Cowboy. Went there around 8 PM and 10 PM, the bars I had pre-selected had no customers whatsoever, so I skipped them.

Pat-pong. The World Bar (aka Linda Bar) is still alive and kicking, although may be a tad difficult to find. The ladies are 5 or perhaps 6/10 max, but in the bar anything goes. Worth a visit, but Lips Lounge Soi Honey in Pattaya offers a similar yet better experience IMHO, including better looking ladies. I also visited a King's Castle in Patpong (I don't know which one), another typical gogo, but the girls were forbidden to initiate contact with a customer (through conversation or even gestures).

Wood Bar. Took a 1000 THB girl (I think she was half-African or something) and the experience was OK, but a bit like being sucked off by some type of machinery. No eye contact, it got better when I started setting the rithm by gently pushing her head down. Perhaps I should have chosen a fatter and less attractive girl, they try harder. Still, totally acceptable experience.

I skipped the soapies, tried them a few years back (they were OK). And I did not try throwing money around in PIMP.

Final verdict: It's good if your main focus is tourism (70-80% of time). If you're mainly about mongering, stay in Pattaya.
