Thanks for the tip. I am sure it can happen again. The way she hit that hard, the pain lasted for three days. I thought I had some internal head injury. Sooner reached back to US on fourth day, checked with my doctor. Luckily, no serious damage except little clotted blood in left ear.

On safe side, I explained to the situation in reception and other office personnel. They asked me if I wanted to call the police but since I already knew what would happen just refused. They would blacklist her visiting the hotel which I don't believe as they see these very often to keep track of girls.

I took the copy of her cedula from the hotel for safe side if anything happens involving her gangs later on ...

I think you were quite right to pay the fee and cut your losses. The girl knows she has much less to lose than any of us. She can continue escalating and making a nuisance of herself.

I hope I'm not repeating information others have reported. (When I'm boots on the ground, I don't keep up with ISG as well.)

I just returned from my latest MDE trip. I stayed at the mansion (M1). People seem to have a strong opinion on the value, with fair arguments on either side. I am a fan myself. This past week, there was a good group of guys that made the down time enjoyable. The problem was that there were more guys than girls. What makes the mansion so nice to me is the ability to sit and chat with the girls at the pool. There were days that there were literally two girls there all day. I'm not sure how long this will go on. In talking with some girls I trust, the hotel has clamped down on who can enter. Essentially, a girl needs a date to get in. Honestly, that sucked! The more I think about it, the more angry I get. No one goes there for the luxury accommodations. So I don't see a bright future for them if they keep this up.

I'll call this a bit of educated speculation. But apparently, several days back, a disgruntled girl called the police and reported some illegal activity in the hotel. That brought the police in, caused some inspections and some big headaches for the hotel. So maybe a crackdown is part of the process. But it sucked. The bar downstairs was slightly less impacted but there were significantly less people. I'll also mention that most of the rooms at M1 were completely vacant last week. So take that for what it's worth. But it was very disappointing.

The worst encounter I've had with a FB chica was one I had seen numerous times over a number of years. When I paid her, she demanded more. I had increased her payment over the years. She was a small, slender chica, so I wasn't concerned with physical harm to me; but she could have gone on a destructive attack inside the apartment. I managed to push her out of the apartment without making any marks on her.

Facebook girls are no different from girls from other places. It is hit and miss and it is up to you to do the proper screening. As with girls from Tinder or from the street, you can meet with the girl first outside of your hotel room to assess the situation and make your determination whether she is the type of girl you trust in your room. If something is off, just pay her for her transport and move on. When in doubt, don't bring her to your room.

When you have a bad situation and you would like her to leave, you don't want a mess. You need to work out an agreement that is acceptable to both parties, that may mean you give a little more than you think you should to make the problem go away. It may seem a bit more than she deserves but I bet the guys involved in the Secret Service agency fiasco probably wished on hindsight that they just gave $100 to the girls instead of throwing them out the door. Bad girls can cause trouble for you and for foreigners on a holiday, that is not something you want.

On my first trip to Medellin, I did not run into any problem girls on Facebook. All were good to great and everyone was nice and friendly to me. But I did a fair amount of chatting and I was trying to be careful in selecting the girls that I wanted to see. This does not mean that I won't run into bad girls but it can minimize bad encounters. There were definitely girls that I chatted with that seemed suspicious to me in some way and I did not meet with me.

In my experience, Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona (about half an hour drive east of Santa Marta) ranks high among the country's true gems--a succession of palm-shaded sandy coves and coastal lagoons extending for a number of miles, striking rock formations above a number of the beaches, and then lush rainforest extending into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The park also contains the Pueblito ruins--"an archaeological site accessed via forest trails, with terraces and structures built by the Tayrona civilization". Food is available at the more popular of the beach coves.

Although perhaps a negative for some, for me a uniquely positive feature of the park is the absence of any paved roads and of any cars. One accesses the beaches from the main highway either via a shuttle bus on a dirt road or by hiking a couple of hours through the rain forrest. Once on the coast, one finds trails linking the succession of beaches --with renting horses as a transportation option within the park. Be prepared for additional hiking from one beach to another.

We stayed in Santa Marta but, if I return, I would opt for one of the lodging options in the Park itself or near the entrance, which I believe range from a luxury eco-hotel, to cabins, to rental hammocks on the beach.

You should upgrade your plan to the premium as it works out better for card transactions and taking money out the ATMS. Cash is used allot here especially for transactions that relate to this board.

Best bank to take money from so far is Caja Social. They only allow 300,000 in one withdrawal but you can instantly put the card back in and request more. They charge approx 50 cents.

I was seated at a normal table booth with no bottle needed. Got a beer for 25,000 (Corona and domestics). No girls were dancing in a conventional strip club senses which was to the annoyance of two guys who came in 10 minutes after me. They were seated at a bottle table and after some negotiations were allowed to order water only. I believe they were Americans.

They got a couple of girls dancing on them and on a pole and were tipping 2 k's and seemed to have a little fun.

The one girl who caught my attention was a 23 year old slim girl. After a couple of lady drinks with her also 25 k each and me asking some ground work questions with regard to prices etc We went up stairs to one of the rooms.

No BBBJ only CBJ but sex was good she was eager to please and overall a good session. I opted for 30 minutes at 210 k and one hour was 300 k+ can't remember the exact amount.

Overall a 7/10.

I won't be back to that club in a hurry because of the lack of other girls to choose from. Literally she was the only one worth paying for in my eyes.

I don't think the weekend warriors drive the market beyond Parque Lleras. They drive the market in Parque Lleras because they are the market in Parque Lleras. I've been to Centro from time to time. I don't notice much movement in market rates. Whether or not the quantity and quality of providers is different than it was once is debatable but there is no objective evidence of costs going up because of weekend warriors or any other reason.
