Yesterday evening I asked one of the tuk tuk drivers in front of my hotel if he knew houses with Vietnamese ladies. He was hesitating for a moment but said yes finally.
First he drove me to Wat Phnom and pointed out the ladies hanging around there. I said 'this is not what I meant' and I tried to explain it again. Then he drove to Sisowath Quay. I asked him if he was heading for the bridge and he said yes. By then it was really clear that he didn't understand what I was talking about.
He said he could 'deliver' Vietnamese girls to my hotel but I declined and asked him to bring me to Martini.

By the way, I can now confirm that the ladies sitting on the benches at Sisowath Quay are indeed WGs. A couple of them said hello and waved at me when we passed them. The quality was not too bad I think. Most of them were alone or in small groups of 2 or 3 girls. One bench with 3 girls was accompanied by a man, most likely their pimp.
They are sitting on the right side of Sisowath Quay, not far from street 94.

Furthermore I think there are some brothels (maybe 2 or 3) in street 49, between street 154 and 144 on the left hand side. This is close to Golden Sorya and the Heart of Darkness.
There are girls sitting outside in front of a few houses. Now that is not unusual of course but these girls look very much like WGs. However they did not invite me in although some of them made eye contact for a brief moment. So it looks like barangs are not welcome.
So basically I'm making you guys happy with a dead sparrow now, as the saying goes in Holland LOL! (that is if you like these kind of venues anyway).

I arrived at Martini around 10:15 PM and the place was packed. OK, I'm exaggerating a little bit but there were not that many empty tables anymore. They had live music and a magician. The music was rather good, the magician not really (but who cares?).
And that nice short guy (short in the meaning of Randy Newman's song Short People) is still sitting in front of the entrance asking for some change. People who go there frequently will know who I mean. (Now you can't get that song out of your head for the rest of the day, sorry for that.).

Quite a lot of Korean / Japanese blokes there and the type of girls they like. Quite a lot of cuties.
One girl was eying me and trying to get my attention from the moment I arrived and since she was rather good looking I invited her over to my table. We had a chat for about half an hour and seemed to have some chemistry so I took her to my hotel. But the session was only mediocre. She was a nice girl with a good body but she was also a real pro. It was not bad but it was far from a GFE. Damage 30 USD.

First, your motodop or Tuk-Tuk driver will get a commission. Second, the pimps want to get paid in advance which is unusual in Cambo. Third, you'll more likely NOT Get what you want-a mediocre short-time pop at best.

If you're into the cheap lane, go to the inner circle of Wat Phnom between 6 and 9 pm.

Probably 75% of the working girls are taking something at least every now and then. If that's a no-go factor for you than you'll really need to look long and hard over there.

Must of them I meet in bar in Sorya. $ 20 LT. Cute and sweet girls. Some of them have been more semi-pro. Working as FL once a week to get the money to strike. It's easy to avoid the drugsheads.

These however are rare and not very visible in Asia.

Even the girls in Martini, LE Cyrcee and the bars around 13 o street like to do some "ïce" as meth is called there. This goes in particular for those girls whom you would NOT suspect to do it since they're real pretty and quite lookers. Some. Maybe most? - of these have regular dayjobs, though and ice gets you going.

If you can identify a girl from 1st or 2nd look as a druggie then she's likely on the road to hell for good. As for those who like sometimes or more often to snort, well, I don't care, although I usually make clear that I do not want to be associated with drugs of any kind.

I had to laugh when you said that "the whole scene is a bit seedy". It's not meant as an offense, quite the contrary, but what's seedy or not depends on one's personal judgment, and probably guys like you and me look quite seedy to some do-gooders.

I'm not saying that I have it all figured out, but I noticed that some girls which I've met occasionally for 2 years or more do it occasionally, although they always insisted they don't. I guess the girls adapt to punter's expectations. Some of us are against drugs of any kind and some like to use it for a better kick. A friend of mine is into that and he hung out with some of the girls I was with, too.

But then, there definitely ARE the semi-pros or amateurs who steer clear of anything drug related. You're definitely right there.

On a few occasions I have indeed seen gays, although being gay is mostly frowned upon in Asia and definitely is in PP. On other occasions I haven't. I can"t say whether PP has a gay scene who meets there every now or then, but from what I had seen the gays are not dominating that club. You can still go there, have a few drinks and look for hot chicks without feeling displaced or weird.

As long as a club is not dominant gay (which indeed would make me feel weird and taking business elsewhere) I say "to each his own".
