I am considering Jiron Zepita area within the historical district or in the Lince area. I could skip Miraflores and stay in both areas, but it would be a hassle getting to the tourist places. Also, what is the best taxi app for the city? Any help would be appreciated.

There were plenty of nice restaurants and European style buildings there and could be lively on weekends. There are also some interesting be&be's and boutique hotels.

I still have my Penthouse in Miraflores and am planning on moving back down there in the next few years. While I still monger, being 70 and retired, COL is my primary motivation. Everything with the exception of Rents and Real estate is much higher, but still COL overall if you like good restaurants is way cheaper then the USA. I always buy 100 generic Viagra to bring back with me and in the past year prices have gone up 50%. But I don't have a mortgage or need a car and the savings on Gas, Maintenance, Insurance, Umbrella liability, Rent, water and electric rates make it like the Pussy and Dining out is free! With that being said. Lima is nothing like it was back in the day and I do not want to oversell it.
