Few more pointers on my Map for newbies.

LOL people need to be spoon fed but are never eager to return any help back in return.

Simple KD route. If you are anywhere in Calcutta. I'm sure you'll find a bus, auto, taxi etc to Ultadanga. After reaching Ultadanga. There is direct auto to BK Pal. Once you reach bk pal. You'll see a three way road. Take the left road. If still confused ask any guy for directions towards company bagan. Its a normal children park. So no need to be shy while asking. Follow those direction and keep walking on the left side footpath. And then towards your left. You'll find the red coloured building of Kolkata Poursanstha. Enter the lane adjacent to it. After a couple of steps you would locate a urinal on your right and a swan chariot parked on your right. A small pathway along the swan chariot is the way to KD, its the last door in the passage on the left.

Sovabazar guys can also take an auto from there to bk pal.

I have to agree with John on this one because I spent a lot of time in SG during that period and, although there was a constant LE presence outside the premium buildings, they did not interfere with the mongers. The one exception was Bldg 12 which had LE walking around often to make sure that the law was being followed although, again, they did not even talk to the mongers. I do see where GoldenTree is coming from though, because walking past LE to enter these buildings does concern me a bit.

My problem with SG now is that they seem to have priced themselves out of business. I ended up paying 16.5 K to 20 K for overnight stays (which only starts at 11 or 12 PM) for which I can get very upscale indies from Tantra and from my contacts. Also, the very liberal policies of the many small boutique hotels that have cropped up, I can enjoy these indies in my room and create the illusion of a GFE and not have to deal with hardened SG girls who, more often than not, need to be coaxed to perform DFK and BBBJ.

I hope the premium buildings come to their senses and control the prices. They also need to offer at least CBJs and DFK.

One is third class and other is heaven. I don't know about your seniority or mongering exp but in my opinion, Building 10 has the best assets in SG and Building 10 is the most pricy too.

I am from Bangalore and will be visiting Kolkata this November 20 and will be staying for 2 days. Main intention is to visit SG. I got information about the buildings and the pimps from LordVoltmart.

I read in one of John1970 recent report that we need to enjoy other things like MPs and Dance bars in Kolkata along with SG.

So can you, John1970 and others please provide me some contact names and numbers of MPs? Also if you don't mind some names of the gems who are a must try there. Also names of Dance bars and how to find their locations and their mode of operational.
