Now would someone try and clarify the climate in Bogota? What I read are a lot of contradictions. I keep seeing Bogota referred to as "cold" or chilly" (including the article above), with highs in the mid-60's and lows in the upper 40's year around. Though I come from a warm climate with a hot summer, I don't find that to be "cold". In fact, by Labor Day, 50 degrees Fahrenheit will sound great. I also understand that Bogota can be damp or foggy, and we know how humidity enhances the cold. Yet other travel related sources refer to it as being dry due to its altitude, admonishing the visitor to hydrate by drinking more water. I visualize wearing a light jacket or a blazer, long sleeve shirt with jeans and regular leather shoes. But, when I look around Bogota using Google Street View, I see a lot of guys in their shirtsleeves. It's my kind of city -- good restaurants, historic downtown, sightseeing options, and beautiful, beautiful women. I thought the climate was wonderful during my visit -- in the mid to high 60-s, with some sunlight, but not lots of it, it was a huge welcome after scorchingly-hot Cartagena.

Also I had zippered pockets put into my hoodies. I want to have another one put in the back area so it would be much more unexpected.

Fiebre is closed for remodeling. Eiffel is a new club. Everything is fresh and new. Lotsa of Really hot girls from Fiebre last night, went with a Super hot Paisa looked like a debutante, 8-9 in looks and attitude, was 70 mil.

Walked around hot cuties to be had in the streets, a few clubs were closed.

I feel fine when I'm there, but I'm extremely fatigued for about a week after I return back to the low elevation in the US. Nearly useless at work because I'm so tired. I'm guessing it's the change in elevation, but would have to go to another high elevation place to confirm for certain.

Maybe I bought the wrong ones. However, I will be going "beltless" more and more, now that I have discovered that stylish, elastic waistband pants that are neither athletic apparel nor apparel for old men, actually do exist. I got a pair to wear when traveling, so I don't have to take off my belt at TSA screenings. It occurred to me how fast and easy it is, to get your pants on and off, when you don't have to unbuckle and unzip you pants. That is great in short-time scenarios and places where you don't want to linger. Combine with a pullover shirt like a tee or a polo and you can in and out of your clothes in a flash.

I like your idea of getting hidden pockets sewn into your clothes. I have also thought about approaching my preferred Vietnamese seamstress about sewing small pocket inside the lower leg of my pants. Somehow, I have this notion that she would be very familiar with such alterations, already.

I felt revived when I landed back home. No fatigue and a lot of energy. I keep reading about the things I missed in Bogota, and I think I'm going to try it again in a few months. Perhaps, take some pills first, for a week or two.
