This would be no different than say the Tijuana sub-sections and doesn't make sense why it hasn't been done yet here.

I am not saying there is a correct price or percentage, but there is a such thing as local value for money. (It seems many punters instead look at back home value for money, which really baffles me). If you know local people are making x for the entire month, but for 2 hours you are giving an uneducated sex worker one-fifth of what an average person is making the entire month then there is indeed an imbalance.

You know the local person is not giving a fifth of their monthly salary like that. And like has been said you don't see a ton of chicks living in penthouses and driving around in Mercedes so you know they are not collecting that from every Dick on a regular basis. So yes it is meaningful to know what local people in normal normal jobs actually earn if you are at all concerned about the local value that you are getting for your money.

A few footnotes to the above, based on my experience:

1) I usually frequent the in-call venues (casas, strip clubs, mileroticos) to, in effect, audition / recruit potential keepers to invite to my apartment (for don't-watch-the-clock sessions of up to two or three hours and to refresh my rotating stable of regulars). At first, since, when visiting me, the ladies don't have to split the payment with casa / strip club owners, I expected to be able to negotiate a discount from the casa / club price or at least pay about the same as for on-the-premise sex, even though they would be spending an hour or more with me and have to travel. In reality, my experience has varied.

--Visits to my place by Centro casa and stripclub girls have usually cost me 150 to 200 k plus transport. (This includes an implicit 30-80 k propina for DFK / BBBJ, and sometimes for BBFS, which I would be paying whether sessioning at the casa / club or in my apartment.

Relatively few in Centro. While I've been a few times to Centro I've never pulled the trigger so lots of other guys here can give you better info than me. IMO, on average Lleras girls are hotter. I only find about 10% of the Centro girls attractive but there are some. Generally, with Lleras girls you take them back to your place. In Centro you take them to a short term hotel, there are bunches of them in Centro.

Personally I prefer facebook to the other options. It is reasonably cheap and reasonably safe as long as you take some simple precautions.

As far as the danger issues:

- Getting shot / stabbed. Pretty rare it seems based on the lack of reports but it can happen anywhere (including Poblado, no it's not safe just because it's expensive). This typically happens during a mugging where the victim fought back. My rule is that if you show me a gun or knife I give you what you want, no fighting back. Fortunately never had to use this rule but I think it is a good idea to decide on this ahead of time.

- Getting robbed / drugged. Lots of youtube reports on guys getting scoped, although it seems like the risk is somewhat exaggerated if you use reasonable precautions. 90% of the stories I've heard involve tinder dates where the guy thought he was going to get laid for free, she was very eager to immediately come to his apartment (with no discussion of money) and when she arrived they had drinks. Next thing he knew it was the next day and the girl was gone along with his laptop, phone, wallet, etc.

But don't let the risks scare you off, MDE is lots of fun as long as you use a bit of common sense and are careful.

A decent restaurant with dessert and drinks for 2 will cost $100 or more. Do a movie and add $50. Drinks and dancing might cost $50-$100 depending on how much she's drinking.

At my age, a date is just step 1 on the road to "Let's fuck" and there are only 2 steps. If you're looking for a partner, maybe a second or third date would be $200. You don't want to start with unreasonable expectations.

Also, that's exactly why I started paying for a sure thing. Why spend time and money on something old, wrinkled and carrying a lot of baggage, when something ypung and sweet can be had for less?

Also the masters of the El Centro scene are often able to get a better experience for the price. If you've spent 5 years pulling from those streets you're probably better at making a deal than the guy who is on his first visit.

30-40 k is the price for the girl for 30 minutes although it might only be 20 minutes. On top of that you need to pay for the room, 8-10 k or 12-16 k for a nicer room. If you want BBBJ you probably need to add 20 k. Possibly 50 k more for BBFS. If the girl knows you're new she may start out asking for 50 k, 70 k or even more.

If you are only getting girls off the street in El Centro, or visiting the casas then yes, you should be sticking with the standard prices. You're getting what the typical Colombian guy is getting. The same is true if you eat in the same restaurants or ride the same buses. It makes no sense to pay more than the locals.

But not everyone is doing that. Even pulling girls off the street in Parque Lleras is different, even if it's the same girl. You're going to a much nicer room, probably your own and you're getting an hour. Not 30 minutes. The girls are only getting 1 or 2 customers a night, instead of 6-10, so they're cleaner and often better dressed with more energy and enthusiasm. YMMV.

Of course the girls in Lleras are hoping to find a chump, but that's true of hookers everywhere. I'm sure there are plenty in El Centro quoting 100 k or more when they see someone who looks out of his element.

Most of us aren't living like the average Colombian wage earner. We take taxis, instead of walking and taking the bus. We stay in nicer places, we eat better meals and drink better booze. And many of us don't see a need to limit ourselves to the average Colombian mongering style.

Instead of 30 minutes in a room of questionable cleanliness, we take 2 or 3 hours in a nice, clean room, possibly with a balcony or jacuzzi. Instead of a girl who might have already been with 5 customers, we get one who came fresh from her home, clean, well dressed (YMMV) and smelling sweet. We might take them to dinner, a movie or out drinking and dancing. It's a different experience and comes at a different price.

That experience isn't available for the typical Colombian who sees a hooker every other payday. It's hard to have a girl come over to the house where your wife and kids live (or where your mother lives). Certainly having a girl there for 2-3 hours of loud, sweaty sex is going to be a problem with your wife screaming and your mother beating you with her chancla.

The only question is whether or not guys should have the option of seeking a different mongering experience, or should be limited to only street girls and casas?
