Parque Lleras and Provenza before dark
For the first time in a long time I ventured into the infamous Parque Lleras and then made my way up la 10 into Provenza to meet some visitors from the Great White North. It was fun and we enjoyed our drinks at Burdo until we got sick of the noise and my friends had to head off to the airport. About an hour before I met them, while I was killing time I was aggressively propositioned three times, pretty much every corner between Lleras and Provenza. I found one of them very attractive. The two pictured here are part of a posse that I noticed hangs out in front of and around the corner from the Hotel Loup on la 10. I don't remember la 10 being a full on stroll during daylight hours. I did not get into pricing because I wouldn't have time. In restrospect I wish I had because as I write this I realize I am curious about it.
Big Brother Is Coming To Parque Lleras

So if you think about this, once the Park is complete, which I will be surprised if it is this year, but if, and when it's complete, I'm wondering how the facial recognition capabilities might be utilized besides identifying criminals in their databases who show up in the park and am wondering if foreign visitors will be able to be identified based on their Passport photo with their system.
Before the recent rush of clueless gringo mongers and Vennie arrivals, the price for the average non addict local Medellin street girls was 20 k for an approx. 30 minute service plus the room.
Now since the arrival of hordes of sharky Venezuelen refugees, the Tijuana guys and other street savvy USA Mongers are happy with their familiar 20 minute rush sessions with rules for upselling top off, CBJ, prepay and other nonsense that was a given with local MDE clients.
After a sheddy session these aforementioned providers are asking for a propina, tip, or cab fare (even though they will walk or catch a bus) and are getting it LOL!
Sadly this stupid obsession to pay more than the market rate is something that has accelerated in past 20 years, partly due to information being available on open forums like this one. It is something that has affected pretty much all mongering destinations. I have a feeling that MDE rates will triple in next 3-5 years.
