The Caribbean Lounge Grill has a draw. A unique menu filled with Haitian cuisine.

The two servers got me to stop buy and the owner was on the street trying to pull customers. I checked out the menu and they had some good deals on it. Especially their specials. But I didn't see anything else unique about it. And I did not partake. I was surprise at how many times I had passed there on my way to the [I]Playero[/I] on the main drag and never paid it any mind other than to looking into the commercial plaza where it exists.

From what I see they have a foot traffic problem. And my suggestion to them is to create a draw. From what I see they have a lot of work to put in to actually solve it. But it appears they are working on it. It would appeal to me if they made the outdoor seating more attractive in the style of [B]Fat Jesses[/B] (my favorite sandwich place) across from the Jolly Roger Bar and Grill and under my favorite bar in Sosua: [B]The Mile High[/B] bar.

[U]VIP[/U] is at least located on Pedro Clisante but about a block off the action. I liked the ambiance and the environment but still wouldn't change spots because I can walk out of the my favorite and be right in the middle of the action. During the day my favorite fruit cart is posted up across the street from VIP and just a few steps away from there is my one of my favorite breakfast spots [B]Dolci e Sapori[/B]. I have reviewed all these spots and you will find them right here in [B]Grownmans Boom Boom Room[/B]. The place where quality information can be posted and not get lost in the noise.

But I have to add another spot to my preferred breakfast locations [B]Wings and Waffles[/B]. A menu with unique items. Your meal prepared for scratch. I had to wait 30 minutes for my biscuits because the chef does not make a huge batch and keep them warm. He makes them as he needs them. The hostess / server is pleasant and attentive and the outdoor seating attractive with TV's lining the walls. I got more food than I could eat and made a second meal out of it the next day and I didn't have to bother to go out.

I was on the street about 9:30 PM. It is slow for the chicas tonight. Police were out in force and I saw two chicas get locked up while I was walking back to my hotel.
