If you want pool, you can stay at speke & just walk over to the Hilton (I think it is Hilton accros the street but it is some american-type hotel you will recognize the name) and just ask them to use their pool & gym/spa. I think it was equivellent of 10$ per day or maybe $20 per day which would bring you total to $100 day with speke + pool at hotel across the street (its the only hotel & huge garden area, someone here will know the name). I even heard some guy tell me he just went across the street & acted like he was staying there & used the pool and no one said anything to him. I know the hotel itself was like 150 or 200 per night and it is NOT girlfriendly & big hassel to get in/out due to excessive security. I just read 20 pages related to Kampala (that are great actually) but did not find anything regarding golfe course hotel, anyone did experience it? Gf friendly? Sorry for this question but I presume that anyway booking a double room would allow any gf issue, if any?

Thurs-Sat are the best days. You cnuld also try Al's Bar. All those places have variety of girls from also neighbouring countries.

Can you get a bus to Kampala from Mombasa. I am going to mombassa for two weeks, but I am also thinking maybe book a flight for 3 weeks and spend some time in Uganda.

Are the girls a similar price to Mombasa and is it possible to find cheap accommodation in Kampala, or maybe someone could recommend better places to go in Uganda for girls and basically just to see an other country. I will not be visiting Tanzania as they Charge Irish passport holders along with Americans double for a visa.

As for the girls in Kampala they are cheaper and have less of an attitude than Mombasa ones. This will of course depend on where you go looking, but on the whole I think what I say is correct.

Girls in uganda are cool with good sense of humour plenty of gf service if you get what I mean. Accommodation shdn't be a problem you will find good clean comfortable and hustle free accommodation just read the previous posts and kampala wilb on yo door step. I was going to take a bus from ghana to nigeria and was informed by both ghanians & nigerians that it is very rare for an obruni (mzungu/whiteman) to do this and some border officials will hassle you for a tip. I can not verify this but am only advising you to keep asking around until you find someone who has done this safely with no problems. Please report what you find out as I am interested also in knowing if this is possible or a problem.

Have taken the bus from Nairobi to Kampala several times.... You arrive at the border at around 3 or 4 in the morning, but it is safe and there is no hassle...
East Africa is a lot safer than West Africa in my opinion...

I agree, the border Kenya-Uganda is easy. No luggage search, so
only passport red tape. The Ugandans are happy to cash the US$50
fee (increased from US$30). Dispatch is quick. Normally they grant 30 days stays but it happened they grant 3 month.
