I was killing a few days, and went to Bahrain on the 23rd.

Checked in -- asked for BD40, said "oh, weekend? so expensive" and got BD35.

Room was sketchier than every. Killed a roach as soon as I got in.

Same parade of girls. Very few (20%?) changed since last visit.

The rundown:

* Samara (Turkey)

Came to my room. Was REALLY aggressive during sale phase, and was alone. Kissed, kept emphasizing "special sex", etc. Asked for BHD 100 for 3 hours; I did BHD 60 for one hour.

I'd say looks 8, enthusiasm 10, sex 9.5. Bed, shower, bed, etc.

* May (CIS)
I wanted Nicole, but wasn't available twice when I'd called. May...as before, excellent. Only did ST BHD 40, should have gone longer.

She seemed kind of sad with the holidays. This time I just took about 15 minutes, vs. about 40 minutes of non-stop sex, and got a massage after.

Did the asking if I was married, etc. thing (no, thank GOD). Talked with her a little more about how the whole thing works.

Was late, and had had sex 4 times already. Did a stupid calculation of marginal cost of another go, vs. sunk costs flying here, hotel, etc.

Wanted 3 hours. I stupidly did 1h. Wished I could be done and go to sleep after 10 minutes, but took 30 minutes.

I ordered room service. Got a dish including rice, which I didn't eat. Made the mistake of leaving the rice, covered by tray, on the table overnight.

Woke up, slightly hungry. Removed the lid over the rice...infested by about 20 roaches. Woo! Roach farm. I pretty much grabbed my stuff and fled at this point, and checked into the Sheraton Bahrain. In the future I think I'll use PH as a secondary hotel room, and have a real hotel room at the ritz or sheraton or something for afterward to sleep.

Also, I can't really stay anywhere without Internet. Howver, I now have T-Mobile and Etisalat Blackberry service, which roams globally (and with BES, does not block forums.), so I can get internet pretty much anywhere, $60-100/mo. Woo.

Also, I think I met one of the owners or managers of the hotel outside, parking his 1960 Ford Thunderbird and 1947 Daimler. I was glad I'd parked my rental altima a bit away; I have an exotic in UAE now, but for just driving from the airport to diplomatic area and back, rented whatever was available.

He was friendly. It's nice to know my 35-40 BD/night is going to a good place!

my excursions to bahrain are few and far between these days (due to the other half) although i used to know the scene very well. this weekend finally got a chance to go on the hunt – very disappointing, read on.

i knew from other sources that the thai population (my preferred delicacy) would be on the decline. they are no longer able to do the monthly visa run to uae, and without somewhere local to renew the visa, it is not financially viable for a lot of them to remain here. so they are departing fast as there current visa’s come up for expiry. coupled with this the local police are having a purge on thai’s, so it’s also becoming risky for them to stay. all this has been instigated at the request of thailand and not by bahrain authorities, other nationalities (chinese, russian etc) are free to stay – for the time being at least.

following funforfemales excellent report decided to check out diggers first. arrived about 9p. m. and my worst fears were confirmed, reasonably busy – but no thais to be seen. quite a few chinese in attendance though, ranging from dog rough to ‘do-able if wearing beer-goggles’. didn’t have the beergoggles on yet so decided to move on. spoke to one quite cute one, maybe a 7, decided to come back for her later if all else fails.

next stop seashell, this place used to be chocka with thais, not anymore. saw maybe 3 who no doubt will be gone in the following days. one looked quite hot but appeared to be taken already, besides didn’t get a chance to investigate further as one of the chinese decided to come and sit with me (there were maybe 20 or so chinese in the place). now this girl would have had to pay me to go st, and not small money either! but despite me virtually ignoring her, asking her when the thais were coming and staring at the other girls in the bar, she failed get the message and wouldn’t budge. so i drank up quickly and left. i did discover she had only been in kingdom a few days though, and this seemed to be a reoccurring theme, seems the ‘establishments’ realizing the thais are in quick decline, are rapidly stocking up on chinese takeaways.

on to queens bar in the al bustan. they used to have a healthy selection of very good looking thais. my only problem in the past was that they were a bit expensive, coupled with the hotel wanting 5 star prices for 2 star rooms, and still insisted on charging for a room if you wanted to take the girl elsewhere. same story again thais replaced with chinese and not in the same league as before – think premiership-vauxhall conference!

talked to one for a bit, another new arrival who was quite explicit about the services she offered. if she had looked 15 years younger would have had the pleasure of my company for the next few hours but it was not to be. i generally find the chinese to hard faced and to business orientated for my liking. don’t get me wrong i’ve had a couple of nice experiences in dubai from cyclone in the past, but those kind of lookers have yet to make their way to bahrain.

off to f-one, now i was here a couple of weeks earlier and the place was full of thais, the best i’d ever seen it, and i used to be a regular here. unfortunately that time all i could do was look at the eye candy on display as i wasn’t alone. different now, there were a few thais but nothing like before, all taken already. i presume due to their depleted numbers they now have a captive market. plenty of chinese again. girls were seriously outnumbered by punters – unlike before.

now nearly 1 o’clock so back to diggers to pick up the cutie i’d met earlier, and of course she’d gone! as had nearly everyone else – the place was all but empty. got talking to one of the remaining chinese, the beer-goggles were starting to take effect now so she was up to maybe a 5 in my book. first told her not to waste her time on me as i might go home alone but she decided to sit and talk anyway, pleasant enough and reasonable knockers for an asian. it’s now getting late, another beer had moved her up to a 5. 1, and i was feeling charitable, so off we went.

"see you again" she said – "not if i see you first" i thought.

didn’t try tc’s, wranglers or rock bottom, all happy hunting grounds in the past but unfortunately out of bounds for me. would imagine they’re going the same way though.

in conclusion i won’t be back anytime soon so looks like i’ll have to reacquaint myself with freddy the fist for now. hopefully the thai exodus will be short term, they’ve done the same with the chinese and cis in the past but both are back in force. maybe wishful thinking with bahrain’s upcoming plans for pubs and nightclubs though.

I remember staying at Le Meridien in Abu Dhabi last year with a great night club called Gauloises with loads of women I wanted to take up. They all rejected me as soon as I was saying I stayed upstairs.
I do not want the same thing to happen in Bahrain :)

A couple of Thai girls I know who recently left are back. They did their visa run back to Thailand instead of the UAE or Qatar. The money some of them are making seems to make it a worthwhile endeavor for them to do so, lol.

I've also stayed at the Palace Inn (two or three star), has an excellent club called Garfields and after 11PM it's full of Thailand ladies, had no problem taken any of them to the room, that's subject to change, because like many of the other hotels in Bahrain that have ladies working in the hotel. They don't like you not using the house girls and finding them outside, nothing in it for them. I did register as two in the room at the Palace Inn, maybe that's why i didn't have a problem.

I tried looking through the 30+ pages of posts but I cannot find an answer to my question.

I noticed that the girls are usually shacked up in the rooms of these hotels and that the patron would get a room in that same hotel, then sumon her to his room.

My question is: can you just roam the halls of these hotels and look for a girl who has a room and do the deed at her room? This way you don't have to get a room for yourself. This would be especially helpful if you stay at high end hotel that is not GF.

This site is invaluable and I appreciate your help.

I would say that the Gulf Hotel is the closest to Garfields. It's a little further than walking though. It's within walking distance to the Al Bustan Hotel which houses JJ's which is usually full of expat totty. However this tends to be non P4P variety. Right next door though in the same building is Rock n Zebra club (I think it's called that). This has Thai girls who are very willing and able. Also the grotty bar on the right just inside the door is definitely P4P. It's dark, dingy and ususally full of Thai WGs.

Gulf Hotel is also reasonably close to Sea Shell. Check out the previous posts for details. Gulf Hotel will need a taxi to get to those places, but the Hotel is not that far from F1 Club either.

Otherwise, try the Intercontinental (formerly the Regency Intercontinental). This is close to Diggers and TCs. Both within walking distance. Both are well inhabited by working girls. When I was last there the Clipper bar had a cracking latino band with some very sexy dancers. There are other clubs around the area in some of the hotels but I'm unsure of the P4P situation in these. One has a very tasty Belorussian dancer, but I'm still trying to find the angle to get her out of the club. . .

The flavour of the month seems to be Thai girls with some PRC filtering around, especially in Diggers. I have also come across (literally) the occasional Malay from TCs.

I haven't tried Phoenicia (round the back of F1 and within a short taxi ride from the Gulf Hotel) since I live here and don't want to blow that sort of money. I find the prices when you've factored in the room, a little too high for my personal taste.

Like in most places, you pays your money and you takes your choice.

P.S. Beware of the Bahrain taxi drivers. By law they have to have a metre, and one that works. However, they will do theyre damndest to hide the thing under a box of tissues or a custom cover, or claim it's not working. Insist on using it. Otherwise, if they say the typical 'as you like', give them only one dinar when you get out the taxi, no more, and watch them squirm. They will do their best to rip you off. Be warned.

As of a few days ago most of the Thais have gone.

Seashell - pretty much chinese only now, the hotel have actually told some of the waitresses that they'll probably have to go soon - no thais=no punters=no business.

Al Bustan - the in-house Thais have gone (they don't let freelancers in, apart from the nightclub). Again only a few oldish chinese in zebra bar and queens bar.

Diggers not much better. F1 the best I saw on my recent 'survey' - but still nothing like before.

Never checked TC's which was always good, but a friend went there the same time I lucked out everywhere else and said they still had plenty of Thais

Even tried to hook up with Expatcat, but it just didn't work out with us both trying to find where the pussy is at now days. Seems this new rule that requires the Thai ladies to return to Thailand to before returning means they can't just fly somewhere in the Gulf area and do a Visa run.

Tobacco Charles’- last night was for the most part dead, I've never seen it like that. Normally on a Friday night after 11pm you'll find the place full of Thai ladies looking to hook up, only a few and not worth biding on.

Warblers- Had a few Thai ladies but for the most part the place was dead too.

Overall it's been a while since I've been out and if you know where to go you can find something, just wait and bite your time and don't take them up on there first offer. Best to begin your negotiations toward the last 45 minutes before the club closes in my opinion.[/color]

Addendum to the last posting. The town has died a death. I went out last Friday with the intent of meeting up with Razzor in town. Looked into Diggers and Tabasco Charlies. Both are devoid of Thais. As Raz stated, they have
been weeded out with visa runs restricted to home countries, not around the Gulf. I've been told that this is temporary and they'll come back with longer (two year?) visas soon. However this does not help the current situation.

Missed out on Garfields since I was just too late. Raz was inside and I was locked out. I got fed up so wandered round to Lensman which was still open for business at around 2am. Got nicely serviced by a Thai who calls herself Nadia. I say this cos I really don't believe that's her name. However, who am I to comment. Average bj and nice fs. Just what I needed after a reasonably frustrating evening.

Maybe this weekend I'll look into F1, and Garfields. Alternately I may check out Rock Bottom and Wranglers in Juffair. Since these are close to the US base, they may be a bit better stocked. . . maybe.

I've been doing some "window shopping" in the exhibition area. Got bored with the Thais and the Chinese and was trying to see if I could land some Arab booty.
