I also stayed in a hotel called Jambuluwuk Malioboro and found that the in room massage from the hotel spa included extras (at a price).

It was very cheap (after an initial higher quote) but they really are used to ojek drivers going in for a 20 second pump and go. It was in a dingy dark hovel, very 'starfish', and she winced often leading me to suspect that she had some kind of internal infection. In other words, it did the job but I regretted it for various reasons. It seems like a very unhappy place that makes sanur houses seem bubbly, and was a case of opening her legs and laying back. Forgettable.

The first photo is Jogja Gang 3 and shows the entrance to the alley where the "pussy market" is located. Coconut Cream is correct, it's a down-market place, however I went there once and had a great session with two girls for I think 200,000 rupiah total. The room was a dump, a room in a shack with a mattress on the floor and washing out of a bucket afterwards, and the girls were no beauty contest winners, but the girls were a lot of fun to be with and both loved to fuck (covered, of course). If my memory is correct, the girls told me afterwards that they rarely see "bule" (foreigner) customers.

The second photo was taken down the street (to the left as you face Gang 3) one or two blocks, and is the front of the building where "Corona" is located. Corona was a busy take-away-only brothel back in 2007 and 2008 but I have no idea if it's still in business. The girls there were much better looking than the Gang 3 alley girls, but still not high end. Several other posters have also written here about Corona.

There is a nice "aquarium" place is SANGGAR JANTI (telp 0274 487 774), located at Jalan Laksda Adisucipto KM6, Gg. Pusara 2A, Jogyakarta.

I also found a lower-end brothel on the road out of town towards the airport that I wrote about back in 2008, can't remember much but I think I posted about it. Come to think, it might be the Sanggar Janti place listed in the preceding paragraph.

A final option for Yogyakarta is to get a taxi driver to take you to the college dorms where the girls stay, they are not hard-core prostitutes but many of them are available and interested in making some cash on the side. For that you have to go early-to-mid evening, evidently you can't go to these dorms late at night (after 11 pm?

Place is small, and not so much of a dump as compared to MS' description of the pussy market area, but still, not well decored. There are about 6-8 girls in total, usually about 4 on display, well, seated on the couches. So at 3 today, I scoped out a scene around Malioboro mall. If you are facing Jl. Malioboro from the mall, across the street toward the right there's an alley and then a full-size street with a green arch across the entrance. I walked about 5 min into it before coming upon a district of massage parlors. When I asked some fellows about massage plus plus, they said no go at any of these places. But a tuk-tuk driver said he would walk me to a FS place. It was another 5 min down the road, but no one could ever find it alone because it was really an AAMP. They had no WGs on duty but said it would cost 750 k for 2 hrs. When I asked about 1 HR she said it would be the same price, which I balked at. In any case they wanted me to come back at 7 pm. So the driver took me to another house a few minutes away. This fellow was straightforward, and we negotiated 500 k for 1 HR of FS which included the cost of a hotel room. One WG was supposedly there but he showed me photos of others which were plausible and cute enough. He said he would be fully staffed at 8 pm. I'm conspicuous here and this part of town is too dodgy for me after dark. So I hope someone gets to put the intel to good use.

I was in town for a weekend in late September. As its a while ago my memories are a bit faded. On the Friday night I checked out Lucifer between 9 and 11 and nothing at all. Asked a taxi driver about ladies and he took me to a house near a hotel that started with M and was numbered '2'. I later realised this along jalan Sosro across the crossroads that Lucifer is located on. There were a few ladies there of varying shapes and sizes. As I have specialised requirements (which I had translated on the internet and printed off), I showed this to the guy in charge. Turned out that only one of the girls was interested but wouldn't allow photos etc. It was quoted as 600 k for 2 hours at my hotel. However, they insisted I had to pay there and then but I was never going to do that. As I was leaving the guy came to the taxi with an older, fatter lady. Turned out she was happy to do all I wanted and I could pay her afterwards.

By the time I got to the hotel I found out that the girl and the guy were there and up near my room! Reception hadn't mentioned they had let them up already. Anyway, it seemed like the guy thought I would pay him at that point but eventually agreed I would pay her after. Anyway, she reluctantly allowed me to shave her. I would love to know if any guys have actually paid the money up front and taken the girl to their hotel and not been ripped off? Sounds like a crazy idea to me and just asking for ttrouble!

Paying up front is pretty standard in Indo for these type of transactions. The only places you pay later are the English speaking girls at the better places. Everywhere else its no money, no honey.
