Heck even Ruamchitt right above Thermae is discounted to under 1200 baht if you avoid stupid holiday dates like Christmas-New Year.

I normally have a friend waiting outside, telling him if I'm not back in 10 minutes (3 minutes to shower, 3 minutes to bang, 3 minutes for post-bang shower), to break down the door.
