Free Sex - Touche !
That is probably the most accurate statement I have read on this forum.
Free Sex is too expensive!
Of course , cause it came from me , lol.
And free sex can be expensive in other ways too. Not necessarily money. Pay as you go , best way.

Thank you Jackson. It was the sensible thing to do.

Yea I hear where your comming from but it was not the issue of how much tip someone gave or did not give that rubbed me the wrong way. It was the way he bragged about stiffing her and pointing at her shoes as a mode of transportation and then giving himself a high five for saving 75 cents. If your going to be a cheap charlie then just do it quietly and show some fukin respect to someone who does not have the same opportunities in life that you have.
I know where all you guys are coming from and think it should just end on this debate as everyone has their own opinion. It reminds me of the debates that go on in Angeles about tipping the women. They get maybe 600-700 from the 1300-1500 barfine and stay the night and then some people say don't tip or 200 is more than enough and 500 is too too much. This debate will never end. This was for a short time and she didn't stay the night and got a little less than some in AC with no tip to stay the night. It is what it is, both made out.
Cost Of Fun
It really doesn't matter what someone pays for a girl on the street, my question is why would you risk a setup by picking up a street girl.
Since I have lived and worked here I have had conversations with lots of mongers and girls and mostly I find that guys say this and that on the internet, but in reality, they pay more and do more then they post. I have talked to many girls and I have heard some sick stories like a guy flipping a girl over and slamming it in the back door without notice, burning girls with cigarettes and tying girls up against their wishes.
I am not trying to preach, just stating what I have learned here. So, read the reports for what they are worth and enjoy the Philippines, because if some have it their way it may not last forever.

I have heard many of the same sorts of stories on which Robb reported, confirming that what you read on the Internet may not always conform fully to reality. This is cyberspace, where anyone can claim to be anyone he wants. Therefore, it's always wise to take all the claims read with at least a small degree of skepticism.

I offer tip to girl at AC for good service, if a girl want to leave early after one shot I will promise her a good tip and breakfast in the morning, most of the time they will stay and I get a GFE all night, I think 300-500p is a very good tip for most of the girl.

I usually don't get involved in debates on this board and don't want to get involved in this one either but I do have an opinion. I have been part of this forum for several years and have met a few people from this board and they know that I am neither cheap nor confrontational.
I like to carry a lot of cash for some reason--maybe a security blanket of sorts. It is very rare that I have less than the equivalent of 40,000 pesos in pesos and US$. Call me foolish or whatever but I don't go into areas where I feel I am in jeopardy of being robbed. I have a driver who takes me everywhere and usually drops me at the door and I don't go to Malate or even Edsa Complex very often.
If I go out, I usually go to Burgos where I feel safe from being robbed. I'll usually take a taxi back and only get one from MGE, Davis or Basic.
Anyways, my point is that I have the money to spend and can afford to tip but I tend to agree with Mr. E. If you agree on a price, why should you have to pay more? If she wanted the 100 peso tip, she should have asked for 600 first. BTW, 100 pesos isn't 75 cents, it's about $2.25.
Would I give it to the girl if she asked? Probably. But, do I see it as wrong to not give it? I don't. You are paying what you agreed to. Mr. E also pointed out that it was 40% of the price which to me, makes a difference. If you had a 500 peso meal, would you tip 200? I probably wouldn't even tip 50 (since a 10% service charge is already included). When dealing in business, you would never agree to a 40% or even a 20% increase after a price was agreed.
I can understand how people will look at it as "only" $2+ and how it means so much more to them than it does to us. That's true. But I don't find it wrong for people who only want to pay the price they agreed.
In HKG, whether it is a Wanchai girl, MP, walk-up, street pick-up or 141 joint, no one ever tips after the price is agreed. In some MPs, the mamasan tells you not to tip the girl any more before you go to the room. If that's the experience someone is used to, I see why he wouldn't want to tip.

Don't look now but you just got yourself involved and even though I agree with you I'm sure that there are other posters who are on the other side of the fence on this issue holding steadfast in their position. That is one reason why these tipping/over paying debates often turn inimical and are about as useful as a pack of Cialis purchased from a Burgos Peddler. After all the debates on this forum, I've yet to see anyone tap out or cry uncle because they saw the light after being illuminated by one side or the other about this subject. People will do as they please in spite of the sermons because despite our obvious common bond, we’re not all the same.
-
Nah, I'm not going to get involved because I see both sides.
I just wanted to point out that there may be reasons for not tipping other than being cheap.
I think we're all smart enough to know that we will never convince someone who feels otherwise.
Poor impoverished people usualy don't tip their culture or other cultures becuse they are POOR.
In many countries local people do not tip. Tipping is purely a American thing if I may say so. Even in Europe people do not tip. Ofcourse many add gratuity into the bill.
Whenever I went to dinner with Chinese girlfriends they would take all the change. Usually if I have a local GF I let her handle the money aspect when we go out. It has worked for me very well.
But mongering is different. If the girl rocked your world it becomes personal , not business. So a tip or buying gifts for her is necessary I believe.

Philippines Diary
In March I arrived in the Philippines for three weeks I was visiting the country for the first time and my under(the)cover mission would include stays in Manila, Angeles and Cebu. I was interested to see how Philippines would compare to Thailand, where I have been five times.
Firstly, some context: I'm an English man in my early thirties who, according to Thai bar-girls, is 'hansum' (and they would never lie about such a thing). In Thailand, gogo bars and massage parlours are my battlegrounds of choice, although I love the thrill of seeking sex and have picked up girls in bars, nightclubs and even on the street.
DAY 1: Manila
After a long flight, I landed in Manila midway through the morning. I took a metered cab from the airport and when the taxi-driver asked me 'you want girl?' during the short journey, I knew my 'escape' had begun. The fare to Ermita came to 218 pesos and as warned, the driver didn't have any change (hoping for a big tip perhaps?). I chose to stay at AMAZONIA HOTEL due to its proximity to the famous LA Cafe, just a one minute walk away. Standard rooms are 1250 pesos but I splashed out 1650 on a larger 'deluxe' room. Both 'standard' and 'deluxe' rooms come with air-con, cable TV and a safe.
I slept for four hours to fight off jetlag and then mid-afternoon headed out in to Manila for the first time. Blistering heat - check, heavy traffic - check, dangerous pavements - check, welcome to Asia!
ROBINSONS MALL is just a five minute walk from Amazonia Hotel and has a reputation as a place to pick up girls. The FRENCH BAKER is presumably 'talked about' because it's near one of the entrances and there are three tables outside, surrounded by stools. This means it's easy for a girl to join you and start a conversation without looking like a hooker. I sat down at one of those tables and ate lunch while surveying the scene. Although it was busy with lots of passing girls, I didn't pick up many sexy freelance vibes. You'd need patience for this one I think. STARBUCKS also gets mentions on the web as a pick-up spot but it's right in front of the main entrance and very busy, which probably means that girls would be reluctant to be seen with an older foreigner. I could be wrong of course. :)
Shaving cream, bottled water and memory card for my camera successfully purchased, I walked back to my hotel. Despite many hours of travel and little sleep, I felt fully energised and excited for the evening that lay ahead. I had dinner at a small canteen-style restaurant near my hotel before walking the short distance to LA CAFE, arguably the most famous freelance venue in Asia.
I arrived at 8pm and was shocked at the number of girls. There were maybe 200 crowded around a circular bar, some of them young and pretty, most smiling in my direction whenever I looked over. I sat on a stool and ordered my first ever San Miguel Light. Within minutes I was talking to a cheerful young girl while an older lady, who may as well have had 'dead-set pro' stamped on her forehead, rubbed my knee with a suggestive glint in her eye. Other girls gave me seductive stares as they walked past and a foxy young chick in a revealing top kept smiling at me from a few meters away. The place had a really exciting atmosphere and girls out-numbered men by at least 10 to 1. 'This is my kind of place' I thought.
Admission is 100 pesos to enter the bar upstairs, where generally prettier girls are to be found. At the top of the stairs on your left is an area where live bands play every night, while to your right is a small eating area and, beyond that, a large open room where Korean's mainly congregate. Feeling rebellious, I had a drink in the Korean section. There were some pretty girls for sure, dressed elegantly and sat on stools at the side, waiting to be called over to join customers by an old mamasan-type figure. When the girls were called over, the process resembled a job interview, very formal and serious. I watched for 20 minutes and got very little eye contact, the girls focusing their attention instead on the wealthier Asian businessmen.
Much better was the area where a band was playing. Girls danced sexily and there was a lively atmosphere. I sat on a stool and pretended to watch the band while eyeing the talent. There weren't as many girls as downstairs but there was a higher proportion of hotties. The time was 11pm and the hunt was on.
I spotted a girl in a green dress and silver high-heels. She had a gorgeous face that looked more South American than Filipino and her low-cut top was struggling to contain what looked large natural boobs. She smiled at me, so I smiled back at her, then after a few more rounds of 'smile tennis', I took the plunge and walked over. Her name was Jessica and she was 24 years old. Disappointingly, she acted quite cool in my company, in contrast to her three friends who were more outgoing and fun. Even so, it was Jessica who I liked - she had a great face and I was hypnotised by those tits of hers. As much as I love Thai girls, they generally have small tits, so I was eager to start my account in the Philippines with something from the other end of the scale.
She told me that it would be 3000 pesos for 'long-time', perhaps mistaking me for a beginner. I choose never to negotiate as I think that affects performance, so just told her with a smile "that's a lot of pesos!" and turned my attention to watching the band. After a brief pause she agreed to bring it down to 2500 for the whole night. According to the info from this website, this seemed to be a fair price for an attractive girl, so I agreed. Once terms had been settled, we left together and three minutes later we were on my bed. Amazonia Hotel couldn't be more conveniently located.
I was a bit concerned by her cool demeanour in the club but thankfully she loosened up in the room. We showered (separately) and then lay on the bed kissing. When I pulled off her towel, she had a great body. Her tits could be framed and hung up in the National Museum they were such works of art! She pushed my head down to lick her pussy - always a sign that a girl is getting in to it - and then when the time came for her to give me a blowjob, her tongue-stud added an extra dimension. The sex was good and I shot my load while grasping her tits as she rode me energetically. Memories/mammaries are made of this.
I should point out a few negatives about Amazonia Hotel. Firstly, my room didn't have a fridge (and I definitely needed a cold drink after my hot session with Jessica). Secondly, the beds are really creaky! As I was being rode by Jennifer, the bed creaked noisily, easily loud enough to be heard by the girls on reception nearby. I'm sure they are used to it but I prefer a bit more privacy.
Jessica and I hugged up each other and drifted off to sleep to the repetitive creak-creak-creaking coming from room 102. Whoever it was had excellent stamina.
DAY 2: Manila
Jessica looked pretty as she slept. What a sexy looking girl to get this tour up-and-running.
She left at midday and I spent most of the day being a tourist. Over lunch I considered when to head to Angeles. Ermita is noisy, polluted and crowded and I was eager to experience what has been described to me as 'the supermarket of sex'. I decided to spend one more night in Manila, exploring the gogo scene, then head to Angeles next morning.
I'm a regular visitor to Thailand and a big fan of the gogo bars, especially Nana Plaza in Bangkok. I was eager to see how Filipino gogos would compare. There are two main options for gogo bars in Manila but since Makati is very expensive by all accounts, I chose to go to EDSA instead. It's worth noting that EDSA is not just the name of a gogo complex, but also one of the main motorways in Manila, as well as the name of a hotel. To avoid any confusion say to the taxi-driver 'Heritage Hotel, EDSA' (as per instructions on this website). The taxi-ride took 10 minutes and I arrived at a large building with security guards at the entrance. After being searched and scanned, I walked through to a central courtyard / food court, where the entrances to the gogo bars are located.
Firstly I went in to PIT STOP which had a motorsport theme. There was a chequered flag design and a large car was embedded in the wall. Women drivers! 12 girls were dancing to pop music, each wearing a small bikini and knee-high leather boots. None were stunners but of course none were ugly either :). I was soon joined by Myla who had blonde punky hair and braces on her teeth. She was the type I like to bar-fine because she was very different from other girls, but it was too early and I wanted to visit the other bars.
SPACE GIRLS was the next bar around, which was painted black inside and the girls wore silver boots. The girls were similar quality to Pit Stop although they were more animated on stage and seemed to be having more fun. I didn't get hassled for lady-drinks either, which is always a bonus. FIREHOUSE had 15 average lookers dancing on a fire engine. Girls slid down a firemans pole to join the stage and the song 'We Didn't Start The Fire' got played. You've got to love the themes!
I had been to three bars in EDSA and although I was impressed with the venues and themes, the girls couldn't compare to Nana Plaza in Bangkok. There were some nice lookers of course but nothing to set the pulse racing. Not yet anyway.
Would my girl for the night be in COTTON CLUB? 12 girls were on stage but they looked bored and most weren't dancing at all. One of my rules of 'gogo crawls' is that when I enter a bar, I will always stay for at least one drink - I think it's an insult to the girls when customers turn around and leave straight away. I sat on a stool and was almost immediately pounced upon by three GRO's (Guest Relation Officers), asking "you buy us drinks?". The girls were fun but let the customer breathe please!
BULLETS AND ARROWS had a Western theme with the girls clapping, singing and hoe-downing to country music like 'American Pie'. They were not trying to grind sexily to some unlistenable hip-hop, they were just having fun with big smiles across their faces. Not just that, there were more girls than the previous bars (20 were on stage) and the percentage of good-lookers was higher too. Definitely my kind of place.
In the corner is SAMBA, which is the smallest bar in the complex. There were 12 girls dancing to latino music on an L-shaped stage. I saw an extremely pretty girl sat on her own at the back, so invited her to join me. Her name was Scarlett and although she had a gorgeous face and a geisha look about her, the conversation soon dried up. The mamasan quoted me 1400 pesos for the bar-fine and a further 2500 to the girl for 'long-time' - far too much in my opinion. For that price I could go to a massage parlour back in England and go with a glamour model!
By now it was getting late and I wasn't impressed. Why pay 3900 when you can find a girl of similar quality for about half that price in LA Cafe? Perhaps the mamasan had mistaken me for a beginner so deliberately quoted a high price? Maybe because it was a quiet Monday night the mamasan wanted to recoup some pesos? Either way, I decided it was time to leave. I had been to all of the bars except Casino and had got a good flavour for the place.
EDSA did have some good points. The themes were great and none of the girls were old, overweight or ladyboys, like Nana. It was difficult to differentiate between the bars as most had a similar number of girls, of a similar age and quality - even drinks cost the same (110 pesos for a San Miguel Light)! In my opinion though, Bullets and Arrows was head and shoulders above the rest in terms of atmosphere and quality of girls.
I jumped in to a taxi and headed back to Ermita and LA CAFE. I walked in at 1am and there were slimmer pickings on the ground floor so I went upstairs. I saw Jessica casting her spell on a bald nightclub bouncer type, about twice her size, so went to the Korean section to scan around. Once again there were some extremely pretty girls but once again they blanked me, fluttering their eyelashes instead at the Asian clientele. Asian businessmen love throwing their cash around (with scant regard for market value) in which case they are perfect targets for good-lookers like these.
Fortunately in LA Cafe, there are sexy girls to be found everywhere. The girls themselves tend to wander between floors, so it pays to explore. I saw a girl with a very sexy body playing pool downstairs and chatted at the bar with a girl who had lots of curly hair. At first I considered taking her because she seemed a 'man-eater' and a guaranteed wild-time, but decided against it because she was too drunk and would probably have passed out as soon as she entered my room.
I returned upstairs to watch the band and soon got talking to Lina, a curvacious 27 year old with dark skin, long curly hair and a huge smile. She wasn't as skinny as some other girls but she had curves in all of the right places, as well as a flirty personality. How could I possibly resist? We agreed on 2000 pesos for long-time and a few minutes later we were in my room.
It's funny how often you meet girls who are very extrovert in the bar, but all of a sudden they act shy once their clothes come off. She had no reason to be shy though, she had a great body with lots of enticing curves. She was a good kisser too and gave me one of the best blowjobs I have ever had, using her tongue expertly with lots of licking and teasing. We fucked in a variety of positions, including doggy-style, which I especially enjoy when I am doing it with a girl with a slightly fuller arse. From doggy I pushed her to lie flat on her front with me still inside her. Then I got her to close her legs, resulting in a really tight pussy and a great climax as my hips slapped in to her lovely soft arse-cheeks. You can't beat a bit of booty.
Another night, another great fuck. Fair to say that Philippines was living up to expectations.

Sir Lancelot
Thanks for the great report Sir Lance,
That was very informative and entertaining without being too long. You have a true gift for writing. Please, please, please write more on your adventures in other parts of the PI. Sure alot of us know the info you are passing along but it is the only way we can enjoy ourselves when we are not there!
Only two points I would add to it.
1. The women upstairs in the "korean section" at LA Cafe are very attainable and friendly, you just have to approach them. I know it sounds backwards, if they want your money they should approach you, but the pinays are not very aggressive.
2. The EDSA bars, your info is very good and accurate. The only point to make is the hot bar or best bar will change like the weather. So your idea of experiencing all of them is very well thoughtout.
I would love to see some pics of your ladies?

Regarding your points: 1. It seemed to me they only had eyes for the wealthier looking Asian businessmen but I did manage to intercept one of the prettier ones later in my trip (day 14) on the bottom floor as she headed for the stairs. She was a pretty girl but a bit of a 'starfish'. 2. I agree, gogo bars are difficult to pin down... which is why it's fun going on a 'bar-crawl' and trying them all :)
I have attached photos of the two girls I went with in my diary. I'm not sure what the correct ettiquette is for posting photos on this site, I've noticed that some people blank out the girls faces.
I will post some more of my diary on the forum in the next few days. The next part will be in the Angeles section.

Lina and jessica look like absolute stunners, I'll be looking forward to my first time trip to PI also. The girls seem to be of a great standard, Hope to have as much fun as you did mate.
