I have never had any issues with bouncers in Pontoon. They have always been polite. I have heard of these bills going high in LD places where I used to keep a watch. For e. G in 136, they keep kind of a bowl infront of you as a tab, where they keep on adding the drinks bills as and when you order. You can always check it.

Bottomline, how ever built you are, and how much ever a** you can kick, being a bit watchful will always make sure that you don't get into a situation.

Have fun guys. Cambodia is generally a nice place to chill out and especially Sihanoukville. Looking forward to my next trip there.

So I can get a flight from London to Bangkok for £500 with Turkish airlines.

But Turkish airlines don't fly to Cambodia.

So I need cheap airlines from Bangkok to Phnom Penh but I can't find any!

Any help please.

Short flight. You could spend about 3 days there visiting the temples and some mongering action. Then take the 14 person van to PP for about USD $10.00.

I will be visiting PP in April with a big client and need to entertain him the few nights we're spending there.

I was wondering whether there are some high-end joints with more up-scale girls in PP? I've been told Pontoon used to be the place to to go to to pick up up-scale ladies couple of years ago but might not be the case anymore. Any advise mates? Bars, nightclubs, KTVs, escort agencies, anything that is Worth trying is fine for me as I need to pull out all the stops.

Look up the internet and do a search for flights from BKK to Siem Reap for the time you will be flying. Prices will vary again from airline to airline. My buddy from US is going to BKK and then flying to Siem Reap to see the temples. I do not know what airline he is using.

I spent two days in PP, so others may have different view on this but I don't think you'll find it there. Pontoon is happening every night, most girls are P4 P and attitudes are great but I honestly can't say anyone blew my mind in the looks department as well as other girly pickup places mentioned here. By comparison Bangkok is where you find upscale ladies in a sense that they can afford to look better and look after themselves but the price is also multiply by at least 5. The country is still very poor.

Air Asia is often the cheapest. Bangkok Air is a nice airline and normally a good value.

There is a scene at Darlings, the night club / bar in the Naga Casino. I was there couple of times, and I wasn't impressed.

It seems to be common sense that the high end scene will be in the KTVs. Just look at the cars parked outside, very high end luxury cars. Places like? Napoleon, XO, 333?

When I used to rent car and driver, the driver all knew the KTVs. Assuming this will be the same. Your driver who is not on the commission hunt is your best bet for info.

Many years ago, there was the Casa night club. Is that place still open?

I flew back yesterday on Bangkok Air and the price was $70 USD plus $61 in taxes or $131. And another $6 fee to buy from website. The $61 tax includes Cambodia airport exit country fee, which used to be about $20.

The airline has a little boutique cafe next to their gate for all customers. For a one hour ten minute flight, they also served a free full meal (Chicken Kiev), and complimentary drinks including wine. Try to find that in the US!

Air Asia has the same route for approximately the same price though doubt chicken Kiev is on menu. Cambodia Angkor Air also has flights but price was slightly higher. I am not aware of any others. There is always the multi-hour bus trip via the fun border town and immigration crossing at Boi Pet.
