Good to see I can get a few laughs and you can always munch on that if you like but I didn't mean anything wrong by writting that and I surely hope you don't miss out on the most important part of this phrase "great persons to be with"!
My bad if I did wrong but I'm still having the time of my life out here.
Just as long as you don't start advocating for a "Colored's Only" Sosua forum. Then we've got problems, lol.
Enjoy all of those colored women of the Dominican Republic...there are a lot of them :)
p.s. If anyone is wondering what my color is, I would be what Senator Harry Reid refers to as "light-skinned with no Negro dialect" (in his description of Obama).
Sorry, couldn't help myself, lol.
Its okay to mention color because the gentleman wasnt trying to be offensive. He said they were good guys and had a ball.He was a little outdated thats all.
My grandmothers(black)and my great grandmothers(black)used the term coloured to refer to blacks.
I use the term 'icebox"instead of "refrigerator"that i learned from my grandmothers.Yes im outdated also.
The guy is hit and missing in sosua and hanging with the brothers. Its all good.
Icebox? LOL........ You still have a rotary phone and that plastic you would put over the black and white TV to make it look like a color TV? I am laughing cause I remember all this stuff. Sometimes I chuckle when I read your handle. It reminds me of the days when Going to the GO GO was a hit song and chicas were wearing them white GO GO boots..........
I also agree no harm was meant, Dadycool was just talking that back in the day stuff.
OK, now back to talking about them carmel colored DR beauties............

I love watching her sleep in bed, or beside me, head on my shoulder, on a long bus ride. Her smooth chocolate skin, well, don't get me started but if feel so blessed.
Last time I took a buddy down to Sosua with me who feels the same way, but my best buddy, a much younger cool good looking black guy, is not interested. He's taking off for the summer to eastern europe because he's crazy about those tall beautiful white chicks. They love him here so they'll love him there. (And I don't have to hide from him that I think Obama is a complete nerd.)
Maybe he'll post a report in another forum when he comes back, and I'll link it here.
I've made him promise to come down to Sosua with me in the fall, and I can't think of a better buddy to have with me. I do very well down there, but he's young, fun, got game, and it would be a totally different trip for this older monger.
In the meantime I'm apprehensive about la chocolata coming up to see me for a couple of weeks and how that will work. She says will be here soon. But hey, if she can work her way thru visas etc, without my help (except for the airfare), my hat's off to her, and she''ll rise another notch or two in my estimation for being resourceful and competent.
I don't think it's that easy but we'll see.

I live here because--- this country is supposed to be color blind. I am a former New England WASP and my advice on the subject of 'color' is this, we are all the same under the skin. Sure some of us like lighter or darker skin color, but what does that have to do with fucking?
Leave your prejudices at home.
Well, after I made my post abt my 1st DR trip( frm such a worldy monger as myself...40+ countries since 1977), I expected complete sh*t on this forum, but actually got for real answers abt everyones experiances in Sosua. Thank u all.
Coolie High,Trilero,Frannie- TY for ur positive responses........
One of the best things about the DR forums on ISG are the posters. It is great to see a bunch of guys sharing info and when someone may not agree the responses are in a mature gentlemanly manner. I have been reading the DR forums here for a few years and honestly can not once remember a thread getting out of hand with a bunch of childish BS replies.

I took no offense to the gengtlemans use of the term colored. Being from the south of u.s.a, I can tell you that is one of the nicer terms used. What I enjoyed the most was the fact that he took time out to hang with differing types of people despite race as that is the majority of the scene I have found while in DR. One of my new favorite friends is an Aussie bloke I met in a drunkin stooper while in Sosua. His term for me ,God bless him him, is simply "Black."
What I do take exception to are those that come on here with disguised racial bigotry and stereotypes. Some of you forget that most of these chicas have a person of African Decent in their families. While they smile and take your money they are greatly offended by your statements and always make sure the info gets back to the subject of your ignorance.
Its not that hard to STFU and enjoy yourself and leave your stereotypes at the airport.

Color doesnt matter

I don't think it's that easy but we'll see.
To me color is not a topic among FRIENDS, I judge people by whats on the inside not outside. Morals, integrety, trust, respect and sincerety. And defiinitely leave politics out. The only exception is if its discussed in a joking manner that is accepted by both. But even then inner feelings can get hurt.
Your worry about your la chocolata coming to visit you stems from your concern about what other people will think in YOUR world(neighbors, family, friends). Your concern will show her another side of you that she might not apprciate.
You don't think it will be that easy because you are having problems accepting her into YOUR world as she has you into hers.
Just my opinion, maybe I'm wrong.

Sosua – my 3 pesos
just some observations from my recent trip:
1. get some french before you leave
there is a huge influx of haitianas after the earthquake (at least this is my feeling). and many of them do not speak english or spanish, or if they do, just a few words. so a little french would be helpful in order to fix the details of your session. just learn some basic french. numbers, time, sexual phrases, small talk, etc.. it will pay you off, because some of these girls are really hot and deserve a shot.
2. check their cedulas or passports
i was told that the police is cracking down on **** girls and their punters. so always check their cedulas/ passports and compare the photo. but it seems that they can get fake (?) ones in cabarete and therefore some of the hotels not just only take the cedulas, but they also ask the girls some questions like „what is your name" or „when is your birth date" and if the girl cannot answer the question correctly as it is written on the cedula, she will declined entry. so i always made sure that the girl knew exactly the cedula details in case she gets asked. and it was fine!
3. from puerto plata airport to sosua
a taxi will cost you 25 us$. for just 5 miles! so i walked by all the taxi touts, towards the airport exit and soon i was apporached by a motoconcho. at first he wanted 200 pesos (6 us$), but i walked on, and he went down to 100 pesos (3 us$). but of course this option is only feasable if you are travelling with light baggage.
cheers,
dv
... All three are colored, good looking and great persons to be with.
Skin color is mentioned all the time on these threads but I understand why are some are rightfully tripping over it now.
The “having breakfast with the three other guys” information gets dragged down by wanting/having to point out they were a different skin color. It implies you have peoples skin color on the foremost of your thoughts. It does not matter whether you wrote how good a guys they were then after.
The point is, the term Colored is fine to use in general. It is only when the speaker uses it to highlight someone’s “race” as a incidental detail is where the problem enters. Doing so points out that the speaker separates individuals by race.
As a side note, the word Colored was used 30-40 years ago and as far as I can tell the white man has always been confused as to how blacks want to be referenced. One reason for the confusion is that many blacks have a strong varying opinion as to how they would like to be described. I remember a TV program on this when I was a teenager where many blacks could not agree with each other on a common term or reference. Most whites feel like they are walking on egg shells when forced to use some type of reference.

Yeah we know he meant no offense to it but with all seriousness if someone came to me and said, "Hey it's so nice to meet you colored people" I don't know about you but that person would get punch in the mouth
In the end I think Charles Pooter made a great point. There's no need to describe the persons color. The important part was what Dadycool said after the fact that he met good people. Who gives a fuck if they were rainbow brite.
But I digresss. Dadycool glad you're havin a good time in Sosua. Now what you need to do is check out Crystals in Puerta plata. And tell us if you were able to handle the stampede of 40 honeys molesting you all at once.

Keep posting Dadycool
Looking forward to hearing the rest of your report in YOUR STYLE. Glad you're having a good time and making future travel partners. I'll be there in August for the 1st time and am soaking your report all in. I ve been considered by most as colored, black, aa, and many other less than friendly descriptions we ll leave out. I am not offended by your post fellow planet dweller. It was simply a description, keep growing and going. But most of all don't stop or hesitate in your writing. More reports-Make it happen captain.

On Race and Tetas
One last thing about race. There is only ONE race and that's the HUMAN race. Color is not a race. It's a COLOR. I repeat a persons COLOR is not a race. Those who disagree in my book you're a fucking moron.
Ok. Got that out of my system. Now back to why where here in the first place. PUSSY, PUSSY and how to get more PUSSY. Since I love this board I'll extend an offering to the fellas that we all can agree to and love. Titties
Yes
Mine are usually very visually appealing and my TLNs decide they are great to sleep in. Then, not long after, they are asking me if they can have them.

....So they can bury them in the yard.

I will never again let a female in a society like that have any of my possessions. Not saying they all do, but some girls will use a piece of your property to do witchcraft against you. And since I don't really know any of those like that, I'm not trying to take that chance. Life lesson learned through personal experience.
Okay, so what's the story behind chicas burying articles of clothing in their back yards? My main Haitiana has my white undershirt that she slept in. I had completely forgotten about it until one morning I asked "Donde es mi camiseta?" She giggled and replied "en mi casa."
Is this something in need to be worried about, lol? :-{
