I am a regular visitor to BKK and AC for the past 15+ years. I used to love AC very much in the past. I have had several girls with whom I kept contact and they stayed with me whenever I visited AC. My first visit last year in June didn't live up to the hype; didn't find anyone I was drawn to, so I ended up leaving. Returned in January and spotted a few more attractive girls, maybe my perspective had changed a bit, but the energy was still pretty low. I did go with one, but it felt like she was just going through the motions; it was like being with a mannequin.
Went back again recently and finally found someone who stood out (to my tastes). She was pretty, fun, and very down-to-earth. It's probably one step above doing it with a blowup doll. I have not tried the gogo girls, but it sounds like they are a better value than Thermae, even if gogo costs more. I would gladly pay more to have a more engaging experience with a girl.
Yes, some girls at Thermae do charge higher prices. One girl with a really cute face quoted me 4000 baht for ST. I had done the walk around the bar and seen all the girls available several times, and she was definitely the cutest out of all of them, but I still felt 4000 was too pricey, especially if she has terrible service. She also had zero enthusiasm in her voice, which did not bode well. She eventually walked away from me and went somewhere else to stand. Looking back now, I'm glad I didn't pay her ridiculous prices, as I felt she would have benefitted way more from the transaction than I would have.
