The feds also closed down the IRMA hotel for prostitution of minors. There have been local groups trying to take the SGs off the streets for years but with no luck. Some say the club owners are putting on the heat to get patrons to frequent higher priced bars versus the lower priced SGs. Anything is possible but what is for certain is the GAME continues on. I have to admit I was SCARED leading up to this trip I have never been outside of the USA and have read and heard all the stores about violence and police abuse in Mexico. There are no safes in the single double room but I felt my stuff was safe and never had anything missing, but again I didn't leave anything of real value in my room.
I did not think exchanging dollars for Pesos was really that much of a benefit as everyone seemed to be aware of what the current exchange rate was. All of the bar chicas would raise their price as soon as I said I had pesos even the street chicas would raise their price I only found two or three of the street chicas did not raise their prices when I told them I had pesos. All in all I really didn't see much of a benefit to using pesos and probably wouldn't bother doing it at all in the future.
I ate almost exclusively off of the street carts which could be found 24 hours a day the food was good cheap at $1 a taco, filling and I never once felt sick. I stayed almost entirely in the zone and really never left it. From calle Coahuila to constitution to callejon Coahuila (the ally) to ninos heroes. If all you want to do is fuck there really isn't any reason to leave this area, its not that large and can easily be circled. I found the bathroom attendants at all of the bars would sell Viagra but at a very large price $17 to $20 a pill, I'm sure it was all the generic kind but that really isn't a problem for me as the generics have always worked good for me. There are pharmacies on Revolution who will also sell Viagra and you can probably get the real thing there if you want. The one I used was really close if you take calle Coahuila past Constitution one block over to Revolution turn right and then one block up next to the 7/11 looking building there is a pharmacy that will sell you generic at $4 a pill no prescription needed. I tried it and it worked fine for me. I felt very safe in the zone never once felt unsafe there were plenty of police around and though I was a little worried about them I was never once stopped by them or harassed by them. There are many baggers and many hawkers trying to get you into their clubs you can just walk right buy them and ignore them they are used to it. There were ATM machines at the entrance to all of the clubs.
The Hong Kong was so much fun the women there are incredible, top of the shelf. My Spanish is really bad so the conversation was limited to me asking them their name telling them my name asking where they were from telling them where I was from, telling them I thought they were beautiful, that I liked them and asking how much for sex, asking if I could eat there pussy which was done more in sign language as I didn't know how to say that is Spanish, and asking if they would give a blow job without a condom. I started avoiding HK on my last day as all of the women I had fucked kept coming over wanting tips wanting lady drinks and wanting me to take them back up. These lady drinks and tips can drain your money real fast. I think in the future I may just pass through looking for the one I want go right up to her and try to seal the deal avoiding any lady drinks. Or just sit there order a drink and waive away any one until I see the one I want maybe get her one lady drink and seal the deal.
The Chicago Club is just as everyone said it was, slow. I went there once in the middle of the day and didn't get past the front as there was no one else in there and the women that I could see did not look all that good. I went back at night and it was a little better but still slow. The women there at night were ok some were attractive and very doable but not quite as hot as the HK girls. I took one girl from there up to the hotel just so I could say that I did a Chicago Club girl price was $60 plus $12 for the room and $1 tip.
