They filed for bankruptcy and there are no news about possible purchasers. Yes, the economy is SHIT. Even Ashe had to move due to the almost 2 year long construction plan that the incompetent mayor wanterd to do. Both in Calle Uruguay and in Via Argentina. Avoid both places if its going to rain, heavy flooding happens with a light rain.

I don't believe the economy is bad; it's just not nearly as booming as it was when the canal was being expanded and foreign money was flooding in for real estate deals.

Your insight has been amazing as usual. I'm wondering if you have any comparative insight as to Medellin v. Panama City. As stated in a previous post, I have an opportunity to catch Panama City for a night (Saturday night) via a long layover from Medellin, but I'm wondering if it's worth it. Many are saying it's not up to Medellin's standards. But variety is the spice of life. Is the scene at Habano's *that* good so as to justify leaving Medellin a day early? Curious to the the guys on the board who have visited both.

You can freely choose girl of your choice. Most girls are average but you can find many good ones. Girls to male ratio is certainly more than 8:1. Good ones ask for $200 for 2 hours but agree to come for $150. So Medellin might be cheaper in price and rest is your choice. Marriott charge $30 for guest (single booking and for double booking, first chica is free and $30 for every chica after that). They have extra people looking for people try to sneak via restaurant. I wish you enjoy a nice trip.

Are you sure about what you say? Is it official or there are ways to sneak in?

So I stopped by Habanos last night for the first time in probably over a year. It was a pretty busy night. The place was packed fuller than I had ever seen it, maybe I've never been on Saturday night before. And the M: F ratio was close to 1:1. Maybe 2:3. The talent level was also much broader than I had ever seen it. Instead of every chica being a 7/8+ there was a wide variety of body types. Short, tall, flaca, gordita. Mostly Colombian paisas with artificial superstrutures, but also unaugmented Cubanas, Panamanians, and at least one Peruvian. Still lots of 8-9-10's, but more than a few I'd call 4-5's. I was looking for something specific last night, so I took my time, chatted up a lot of the chicas, instead of taking the first enthusiastic 9+ that I found. Prices were higher than I'd ever been asked before. Everybody started at $150 or higher, and would not come down below $120. I hung out for probably 2-3 hours, and pricing was consistent all night. Previous trips I'd paid no more than $80-100, and cien was always acceptable. Maybe it was because I was only chatting up girls with good English, maybe because it was Saturday and there was almost as much demand as talent, IDK.
I'm planning my trip to Panama in November and I can't quite figure out 1 thing.
It seems to me that the $100 plus figure for a lady from Habanos seems to be quite high compared to the $25-80 figures for the lady's on the various classified sites. Many offer anal, bbbjs, and more.
Is it the experience certificate of meeting them first? The fun night at the bar to seek and find? The overall experience? I mean, I totally get it, and I'm sure I'll be there for fun at least a few nights.
But it seems like I will keep going back to the online classifieds for more value.
I'm probably way off on this. Just curious what all of you experts think.

Just as on many of these web sites someone will complain you're paying too much and running it for them. One girl will harass another girl for taking too little money. At Hobanos there under pressure to ask for more money.

They're not seen in a place where it would be obvious what they're doing.

Just a regular girl not fully aware of pricing.

Intimidated by what they consider better looking girls.
I personally agree with you. I find very good value online. Not that I do not go to bars. More often than not when I find someone I like I get a phone number. Some consider a day time date a value to them and are willing to take less money.
Of course just some of my opinions.

Last night (Saturday) in the SUN casino, some 10 sweethearts were waiting for opportunities at the bar.
A little old in my view 30+ and +7 on my scale.
I don't know if it was this Saturday special, as last week I had seen only a very few of them dispersed all over the casino and none stationed at the bar.

I haven't logged in here for quite a while. Read the last few pages on Panama tread and had a few questions for the experts. Thinking about heading to either Panama or Medellín with the wife for 3 or 4 days. She wants to see some action happening to me with another girl or two on multiple occasions. Maybe having a girl stay overnight with us. We did this in Jaco 7 or 8 years ago and in Montreal in 2005 and it was super fun. Want to stay in a nice hotel like either the Hilton or the Waldorf (gold member) or an apartment hotel in Medellín which is girl friendly.
Any help or contact would be appreciated. I will post the same in the Medellín tread.
