Today a huge fire struck Cidade do Samba causing extensive damage and destroying the sheds of Portela, Uniao the Ilha, Grande Rio, and Leisa. This will also destroy the dreams of thousands of people who worked on these displays and practiced alll year to participate in the parades.

We got together around noon to go to the beach. We called a few girls to see if anybody's interested in going with us but nothing materialized. What a surprise! JC likes the beach in Barra. He's been going there for years. So we took a cab to go there. R$35 fare and about 15 min. Ride. Was this beach ever busy. Mostly locals and they had some nice music going, people playing volleyball or other games. Lots of good looking girls in bikinis. JC took a lot of pics and even made a few short videos on his phone. We rented chairs, had a few drinks, relaxed and just ass-watched for a few hours. Food was good as well. This little kid no more than 10 yr. Old took care of us in supplying chairs, food, drinks etc. Right where we were and checked with us every half hour if we needed anything. We were there until around 5 Pm and decided to head back to our hotels, rest for an hour and meet at MC around 7 PM.
I got there right on the clock and JC joined a few minutes later. It was extremely busy. For a few minutes, you could not even walk in there. Lots of guys but still a lot more girls. I found out later from a girl that the Management wants all the girls to be present on Saturdays. They work 6 days but canīt get the day off on Saturday. So if you want to see all the girls, this is the best day. R$ 180 fine if they miss a day of work. They also pay R$ 180 a week to the Management which covers monthly check ups, pills, lingerie etc. It also covers their doctor visits whenever they want. We started talking to some brazilian guys while checking out the scene. They bought us a couple of drinks and we reciprocated later. Nice guys, regulars there for many years with 2-3 visits every week but take the girl like once a week. It didnīt take us long to find our girls. Every single girl was dancing and this is the most girls Iīve ever seen in MC. Electric atmosphere. My girl spoke good english But JC`s girl didnīt. So I was translating as much as possible while having good time with my girl. Later on we both had good sessions. We met downstairs and it had slowed down a lot in Boite. Our girls joined us. Mine sat for about an hour and talked a lot about politics, religion and whatever else. Smart girl. Knows a lot about the world and good personality. It was getting to be around midnight. So, we decided to leave, change and meet in my hotel to go to Balcony.
Balcony was pretty busy as usual. A guy parked his truck selling beers, drinks, water etc. around the corner and a lot of people were walking over to buy a R$2.50 beer there and not buying at Balcony for R$ 6.00 or more. But they were all drinking while standing in front of Balcony. I donīt think they have a way to stop that. We followed suit and bought some cheap beers. JC met his girl from previous night and today she offered to go for R$150. She said many times that she doesnīt go for less than R$ 250 or R$300 with anyone else but for him, only R$ 150. JC couldnīt refuse that. He asked me if he could take her to my hotel room, save R$50 for the Motel and be at a nicer place than Lido. I said OK. I donīt mind. At Hotel Atlantico, if you walk to the elevator with no eye contact and pretending to know the place, they never stop you. JC just walked to my room and nobody stopped him. He was back at Balcony in about 1.5 hrs. with a huge smile on his face and apologized for having made a lot of mess in the bathroom. No problem. Meanwhile, I had selected a girl but by the time JC came back, I had lost interest in her and told her that it will have to be another day. If JC wasnīt using my room, I probably would have left earlier with her. Oh well, What are friends for? There is always tomorrow. We decided to take a cab back with plans to go to Solarium tomorrow.

Only 1 month to carnaval, hence the big samba schools will struggle now to get their floats ready in time. These guys spend millions to get their floats ready, hence big big set back. Very sad!

Though I heard her on an interview recently say that her talent was marketing-which I don't think anyone can argue with. This was the same interview where she said she was in tears when she first saw the photos from W Magazine because she was told they would be artistic and strategically cover her private parts. Of course, I haven't heard anything about a lawsuit or anything. Seems like another good marketing move. Didn't make me go buy W. Magazine, but I immediately Googled the pics of her online. Either way, I think its easy to see why her body is in such high demand. I would do terrible things to that ass. Plus she's cute and got a nice rack!

JC and I met up around noon to go the beach again but didn't want to go too far so we headed to Ipanema beach. Pretty normal beach. Not as many good looking girls as Barra so we didn't stay too long, had a nice meal and planned to hook up at 5 PM to go to Solarium.
We got to Solarium around 5:30 and man, was it ever slow. Only 10 girls and 2 other guys. We had a couple of beers. I talked to a nice blonde, the only girl I liked but didn't find chemistry between us. We found out from another girl that Sunday is not a good day to go there as more than half of the girls don't come to work. A brazilian guy confirmed this to JC while out smoking. Few more girls walked in but nothing we really liked, so we decided to come back another day and went to MC.
We got to Monte carlo around 8 PM and it was no better than Solarium. I hate Sundays in Rio. Each had a beer. Our girls from yesterday were working. Both said Hello, and JCs girl left right away. My girl sat down with us to talk since there was on one else around. A couple of guys walked in so she got up, danced in front of them for a few minutes but they didn't show any interest so she came back and sat with us. She said that she might go to Balcony later on with her friends. She is not supposed go there because management of Monte Carlo doesn't like the staff or girls to go to any other place. It was getting close to 10 Pm and JC didn't want to stay there. Also, he had to make some calls back home so we left. He went to his hotel and I went ot Luomo to see if I can save the day.
I got to Luomo just after 10 and it was better than MC or Solarium. Atleast 25-30 girls and 4-5 guys. I know most of the girls there and a Lot of them came over. Most of the girls didnīt session today because of very few customers. Or so I was told by a few girls. Natalie came over but I wasnīt interested in her. While chatting with her, I saw a cute looking girl I had seen before but never talked to, Natalie called her right away and introduced her to me as Bruna, her room mate. Bruna sat on the other side and both of them had their hands inside my robe. There was something about Bruna I didnīt like so I decided against her. I wanted to session soon because they close at midnight. I finally saw another girl I liked, waived her over and she was very nice to talk to so I decided to take her. Pretty good session, not a memorable one but still very good. By the time. we came back out, It was midnight, Everybody had left and all the lights had been turned off. I quickly changed, paid and got to my hotel.
There were only 15 minutes left before JC was supposed to meet me in the lobby. So I went to my room, put fresh clothes on and we walked to balcony. It is only 15 min. walk. We walked around there for an hour or so. JCs girl was there but he didnīt want to go with her 3 nights in a row. Beer guy wasnīt there today. Talked to some girls and a TV. He/she was very interested in us but we very politely declined the advances. Offered to buy us beer. We declined that as well. Then, I saw that girl from MC with her friend. Her friend Amanda was the rudest and most obnoxious person Iīd ever met in Rio. We didnīt get along at all. Amanda then asked me to buy her a beer which I refused. She got pissed even more. So I told my girl that either Amanda goes or I walk. Needless to say, She said something to Amanda and amanda walked away in disgust, much to my delight. Now we were alone, so we talked, listened to the music and decided to go to Dolce vita. Guys pay R$20 entrance but girls donīt pay. But if you walk in with a girl, you have to pay for both. She told me that before so we both seperated at the front door and met back up upstairs. There was no one upstairs. Spent about an hour and we came to my hotel. Nice sex and then she asked me if I wanted her to stay the night or if I would be more comfortable sleeping alone. I didnīt really want her there so I asked her nicely to leave. She got dressed and I gave her R$200 which she discreetly counted and left. It was after 5 in the morning so I went to bed right away.

This is devastating for the four schools affected.

I have a friend who busted her ass for 3 months to get into top shape so she could dance for Grande Rio! I just called her house but she didn't answer, I am sure she is devastated.
