I arrived at HK at 9 pm, I haven't been here since Sept. I didn't see anything special or any special event, just seem like a regular thrusday night on a Wednesday. 1) Lap Dances are completely worthless. The lap dance was mostly air, way less contact than when I bought her a drink. I talked to another customer and he said he had the same experience, I don't know if the girls go easy since they assume you're not taking them upstairs or what, but it's probably best avoided.

2) Dollars are your friend inside the club. The mesero's were always happy to break my 20's but for whatever reason they didn't want to make change for my peso notes. You can obviously pay for everything in Peso's but I think it's easier if you have dollars.

3) Speaking of Mesero's in general they weren't as bad as I feared, but when they got out of hand one thing I figured out you can do is to tell them that another one is bringing you a girl / drink / whatever they're trying to sell you.

I'm going to head back for the festivities tonight (Friday) and I'll make a new post if I learn anything new but for now I hope people find this useful.

I went to HK last year and paid in american dineros. I was thinking of taking advantage of currency exchange rates and paying in pesos. Does anyone have advice on where to exchange near the border preferably on the American side? Also what kind of range in pesos should I expect for a half hour arriba? Finally, any advice on how to haggle down on a Sunday, (or is this something I can only do with American dollars)?

Thanks.[/QUOTE]If you enter Tijuana as a pedestrian, you will see a handful of cambios within short distance of the end of the trolley tracks and the McDonald building you go around to enter Mexico. They all tend to be close to the same exchange rate (vs. The generally poorer cambio rates you will find when obtaining pesos at cambios inside Tijuana). Just look at their signs and go to the best rate you see at that moment, or the cambio with little or no line, if time is more important than a few pesos. Pesos are worth about a nickle each these days.

ScatMandoo Jr. Walked into Hong Kong Bar Wednesday around 9 or 10 PM and sat down in an upstairs booth to drink a beer and look over the talent. I believe if you want to haggle, you will almost always come out better when you haggle in pesos, not dollars.

Top-tiered HK girls were taking 1,000 pesos for 30 minutes upstairs. The exchange rate 1 year ago was 12:1, that equates to $80. But the rate now is 20.5. That makes it about $50.

I even had a HK girl for 500 pesos then, which is $25 now. Due to prior sessions, I had problem erecting and coming. That girl gave me BBBJ then BB sex to make me come quickly.

Local Mexican guys all bargain in 100-peso increments with the girls with detailed requirements in bed. The bros should all stick to 1,000 pesos maximum to help Mexico fight inflation. I use an ATM card. If I withdraw small amounts (e. G. 2,000 pesos), I get a rate that's competitive with the money changers, even after all the fees. If I withdraw bigger amounts (7,000), it works out even better. And a lot of the guys are talking about using a Schwab ATM card, whereby the fees are reimbursed.

That $80 per 30 minutes is a common asking price, but many will go for a little less. Hong Kong is not set up for hour sessions so you should expect a high price for that much time, maybe double the 30 minute price. When you leave the bar with a girl, the doorman will write down the time and the girl's name as she has limits as to how long she can be gone without causing problems.

Suggest you bring pesos with you. San Ysidro exchange cambios currently have rates of almost 20:1 while Hong Kong exchanges at 16:1. Many other businesses exchange at 17:1 or 18:1. A good chunk of the street girls seem to still think in terms of 10:1. But I've found the Hong Kong girls think of prices in terms in US dollars and they convert much more accurately, she may even open her calculator app on her smart phone.
