Bangkok Reports

Where are they now? I have memories of some Soi Cowboy bar personalities from decades ago. Just wondering if anybody knows their current station in life and what they might be doing these days. In no particular order:

Casey / Kacy / KC. Papasan / manager at Midnight after the upstairs part of the bar replaced the old Top Cat bar.

Sahn. Simultaneously, the owner of Toy Bar, Fanny Bar, Moonshine Joint, and Jungle Jim's. I first met her when she was 15 years old and working at the Toy Bar. No, she wasn't available for take out. The owner was very protective of her. The owner had previously owned a bar at Nana Plaza which later became Lucky Luke's.and, after selling the Toy Bar, opened another one off Soi 22 (Tina Bar).

"Hans", manager (and maybe a part owner) of Tilac when it was a DEA agent hangout. Every night, Hans would be sitting at the end of the bar along with "patrons" enjoying their customary seats that had their names fixed with small brass / bronze plates that noted that those four seats were "reserved".

Cactus John. The papasan / manager of Cactus Bar; an affable and interesting dude who, in my opinion, had the worst taste in music imaginable (LOL). He was a righteously degenerate and fun-loving guy who might've had the biggest drink tab every night if he didn't enjoy his position. 20-baht table dances were probably introduced by John, that featured bottomless dancers moving table-to-table and offering up "tacos" for those who were hungry. LOL (Even if you didn't eat them, you were able to inspect them from inches away from your nose.).

Any updates on the foregoing?

Yes, he should have read the forum more carefully, but I remember some of the dumb shit I did when I was a newbie, including leaving $1000 USD out on a table when I left my Airbnb in Sto Domingo to go work out at a nearby gym. She was so GFE in bed, that I forgot that she wasn't actually my girlfriend. I could recount several other dumb errors I have made with young pretty girls, but overall I have still had a wonderful time of it. For security reasons, we cannot provide details such as how long suspensions are for. ".

There's also an option in line that needs to be set to allow others to add you by ID. Default setting is yes, but perhaps some girls have mistakenly turned it off. Same for add by phone number, but there I think the default setting is off.

My guess it's one of these two things causing the problem, and the solution is to ask for their qr code instead.

Other than that I disagree about line being inferior to whatsapp. I've been using line for 15+ years I think, much longer than whatsapp, and have always considered it superior to whatsapp, or any other chat app I've tried. It also has all those cute bells and whistles that asian girls typically like easily available, and which seem to only now be coming to other big chat apps, in a much more limited and difficult to use form.

It wouldn't surprise me if people who bareback all the time, built up more resistance against STDs than people who never or only occasionally bareback.
