I did not know any better back then and did a tour with some company. They put us up in the Alvear palace, one of the world's supposed top hotels. Prior to the trip, I had been in a cheaper and IMO better hotel in BA and had played in the clubs Black and Madaho's and was amazed at the quantity and quality of the women. The fact that someone called them "upscale" should have tipped you off. That girl asking for $300 USD grew up with and probably still lives next to a girl who's getting 30 k in El Centro. At times, the girl who makes 30 k in El Centro is standing right next to her friend and asking for $300 too.

There aren't many "upscale" hookers in Medellin. They come from the same neighborhoods, went to the same schools and eat the same arroz and huevos when money is tight. With very few exceptions, they aren't driving BMW's and living in Poblado penthouses. They're riding the bus or taking the metro and taking cold showers (without a shower head). Some ask for more, sometimes. Most of them also accept a lot less if they need money and aren't finding any customers.

When I search for Isa Cardenas I get a lot of different options, none of which looked especially appealing, just the basic type you can see anywhere in Medellin. Perhaps some link would clarify it. However, if she's someone popular on social media, the pictures you're looking at are 50-75% her and 25-50% makeup, filters and lighting. Unless she's been surgically enhanced, in which case swap those numbers.

You don't have to be handsome and you don't need to be a smooth talker. You just need to be real, confident and able to show some empathy.
