Check my post in the safe-sex thread. The clinic I recommended there did the test without ID, though whether they'll give the medicine without insisting on a test first I have no idea. They created a physical card for me and told me to just show that card next time I came there, so I'm guessing if I needed any medicine after the test, I'd just go back and show the same anonymous card.

Think it's the first time I've read about anyone worrying immigration will be informed about his std results though, though I know syphilis test is/was required for work permits here.

Hello Fellow Mongers.

I did RTFF and shortlisted Hillarys (4,11) mixx etc. I've been to Hillary's 11 on an evening around 9 pm but didn't find any FLs. So looking for some suggestions on what's the good spot and time for FLs. I don't prefer Thermae though, prefer a bar / club with few beers and pick up the girls.

Also, other than these any joints for day time pick up for FLs? Thanks and appreciated!

I had done the RTFF about freelancers scene, but I didn't had much luck. Tried Hillary's, mix etc around 9 pm but didn't see any FLs. Are there any other clubs to be tried? What's the best time and good bar to find FLs? Also, any good spots for day time FLs. Of course ThaiFriendly is the way to go, but it's tedious and I hate to be indoor and do the picking!

He has no intention of ever needing a work permit for Thailand though.

The problem you have is that all of the bars where you can pick up girls are noisy. Go-Go bars and the beer bars on Soi 4, 7 and 11 all make a racket. If you want to avoid the music then Thermae, massage parlour, street walkers or online is the best way to go.

I reported here that I could not add friends on Line using their Line IDs, but could add them using a QR code. I can say as well that their phone numbers also do not work.

One explanation is that non-Thai accounts (mine somehow or other got changed to Line USA) won't add Thai friends.

People who have reloaded Line (and hence lose all of their chats and contacts) state that this does not fix the problem.

Is anyone with a Thai Line account experiencing this problem? I guess I will bring a second cell phone and buy a Thai Sim card. I will get a Thai Line account and see if this work. But it would be good to know if this is a solution.

I've been to BKK numerous times. I'm back and forth with staying at JW close to soi 4 or Sheraton Grande closer to soi 22 scene. I rarely do gogos; too loud, too expensive, too mechanical. Mostly Fls whichever venue I find them. Currently booked at JW as I at least want to try Nana if nothing for experience and it's a nicer hotel. However, Fls and massage probably will make bulk activity. Stay closer to Soi 4 or go closer to Soi 22 scene?

On my last trip I bought a Thai tourist sim. As soon as I returned home, I lost all my LINE contacts / messages and I can't log in. I am assuming it's because the sim had an expiry date. So along the same lines of the problem you have experienced. Painful, I don't know why line make it so difficult, I found the fact I could only have it on one device at a time a pain in the butt as well.
