Most of the places on Fields Ave offer just about the same rate Although at times Normas money changer is usually leading the pack with a 10 centavo difference. I like it there because they have a gaurd right at the window with a shot gun (looks good even if he doesn't know how to shoot it). Other places have no privacy and everyone is always watching.

There's alot of Money Changers on fields Avenue but, it's out in the open. I don't like this especially if your exchanging $500+ dollars at once. I exchanged my $100 bills at one of the department stores in SM Clark. There's a guard standing there. The bad thing about this is that you have to walk to SM Clark and you have to fill out this form that includes your name,amount of money being exchanged, place your staying at, your passport number.

This is the same with other department stores in SM Mall. SM Mall in Cebu the department stores that have an exchange counter will also require a form to be filled out.

How is everyone? I have just come back from my honeymoon which we spent it in subic bay. The wedding went of without a hitch everyone had a great time. My older brother came through for me he brought a prenup with him and my beautiful maganda sign it, and also the celbrant signed it as well. On my bucks night her brothers told me that they and the family did not care what I did in the past, but from now on I must stay loyal to my new bride. Thanks[/QUOTE]You might also consider checking with the hotel you plan to stay at. Several of them offer shuttle service from Manila... if you want to throw away the P2000 - 2500.

Pretty sure that all bus service from Manila runs from the bus terminal or Mall and you will need to take a taxi there from the airport. I read that you don't want to take the taxis from the airports lower level. They won't use their meter and overcharge. Go up one level and take a taxi from the departure entrance. The taxi into Manila shouldn't cost more than P120 and the bus to AC should be about the same. The Jeepneys might be even cheaper but without ac you might regret it.
I have read that there are ways to trim the cost for the entire trip down to about P130 :

Jeepney to mrt-edsa (Metro Rail Transit) = PHP 10

Train to Ortigas Megamall = PHP 13

Bus North (baguio, tarlac, pagasinan or any bus passing Dau) get off in Dau = PHP 90
Jeepney to SM Clark = PHP 7.50

Thanks[/QUOTE]There are no direct buses from Manila airport to Angeles. You could take a taxi from the airport to Pasay terminal and then take a bus to Dau terminal (in Angeles). Total cost is about 400 Php.

Philtranco has direct buses to the Clark Airport that leaves SM Megamall five times a day (2:30am, 7am, 11:30am, 1pm and 3pm). You can also catch the bus from their Pasay and Cubao stations. To/from Pasay, the fare is PHP350, and to/from SM Megamall and Cubao, the fare is PHP300.

You can also take the Swagman "Fly The Bus" to Angeles City. It would cost more but, they have a pit stop and you can then use the restroom.

There is one bus from the Airport but there are many from Manila. Take a taxi from the airport to Pasay Vitory Liner bus terminal and get on the bus (about 132php) going to Dau. When you get to Dau you take a trike to Fields Ave or your hotel (70php). Both Sawgman and Sourthern Cross hotels have daily shuttles (around 400php) running from Manila to AC but times very:

You can exchange money at Natalia's. There is an exchange in front of their hotel, but you can go ahead and go inside and do it at reception or cashier. It's the same thing.

Public transportation is indeed the cheapest option! However, if you arrive late and with heavy luggage you might consider a pick-up service. If I am not mistaken it costs about 3000 pesos from the airport to AC, but since it is much faster and more comfortable by car it might be worth it!

Just arrived yesterday evening at Angeles City using the Swagman Fly D bus. It was 600 pesos from Ermita to AC but given the traffic it was more than 3 hours door to door.

I was in AC last time three years ago. The city has developped very quickly. i had the same feeling in Manila... at 6 % per year, this is 20 % more of GDP in the country and I can feel the difference: many new constructions, new hotels and bars. The punter moneys can do miracles.
