Even the girls have learned the trick of how to make money. Not all the girls are honest however. All of my girls joined DIA hoping to meet a foreigner and hoping for marriage and get out of Phi or atleast get a foreigner to support them. They told me they have a aunt, friend or cousin who is married to a foreigner and living well. Remember part of their duty in life is to support their family. None of these girls are under the illusion that marriage will take place soon. Along the way they have learned to exchange sex for money and gifts. It is not unheard of girls who have many boyfriends visiting. But at they same time they do not like to work in a bar or branded as prostitutes.

IMHO I start chatting about 2 months before my trip. Any longer the girls are not interested. Ofcourse initially they all say they are good girls and will not have sex with me-blah, blah, blah. On continued chatting they are willing to meet me and stay with me. Ofcourse there are some who will never agree.

Of those willing to meet their next query is they do not have any money for travel expenses. If I am in Manila or Cebu and the girl is local I ask them to borrow money to come and see me. And she had the audacity to request another 2500 pesos for some emergency giving the reason her mother is in hospital so she could not meet me.

Otherwise I have met upwards of 25 girls, some local, some from provinces. I still have 4 of my favourite girls I use as back up. Always willing to take a chance on new ones.

Irrespective of how much homework you do, you can end up with bad apples.

IMHO only with local girls you have better luck with not sending money before meeting. Province girls are the best I have found besides they are more friendly because they are away from prying eyes of their hometown.

Unlike most posters on this forum, I don't think there is anything immoral or wrong by allowing a girl to think that marriage, etc. Is a possibility, as long as you don't make any concrete promises. Isn't that how things work in the real dating world in the US?

When I was mongering, when a girl brought up the idea of possible marriage, my response was,"Well, I am not LOOKING for a wife, but if things work out, then who knows?" In other words, no promises, but just an open mind.

By having such an attitude, you open the door to many, many non-PFP girls who will do just about anything for the possibility of love and marriage, and immediate cash payment is not a major priority. This is not to say that we should not help the girls financially here and there within reason, but why not tap that wonderful resource of marriage-minded ladies?

I know I will not get scam on the plane ticket purchase, but once I found out that she only wanted only 200 peso for her transportation fees. I was very ok with that. Maybe she she still will scam me, but why scam somebody over 200 peso or $5 US Dollar? If I lose the $50 then yes I will also chalked it up to experience. If I start crying over losing $50, then I am the cheapstake that you claim that I am. Let see what happens, I will know on Monday of next week.

Cebu-Iligan-Ozamiz. If I remember correctly it's a Cokaliong ferry and it operates a few times per week. Tourist class ferry ticket should be around 1200p and that includes a simple bed and aircon. There are cheaper rates that do not include a bed or aircon, but she will arrive in Cebu tired and not in a good mood for any fun since the kuripot foreigner didn't want to provide her with a place to sleep or aircon on the ferry.

Generally pinoys and pinays who work for foreigners (as is the case in my experience) are very punctual about time and I have found that they are fantastic professionals who work hard and are very loyal.

One quirky and rather dysfunctional thing they all do though is to put their wrist watches 10 minutes ahead. The office wall clock is always 10 minutes ahead. When I notice it I turn it back to the correct time and next thing I notice it is again advanced to 10 minutes ahead. It has now become a bit of a joke in my office and I have not made a big issue about it as they are always at work early; we don't have a punch-clock and we look more at completing outputs rather than how long is the work session.

I have tried and tried to gently discuss the logic of this with so many pinoys but they persist with this rather crazy habit. The explanation always given is that it means they will not be late but as we all know it doesn't work very well.

If you have posts which have disappeared, it wasn't my doing. Maybe someone discovered that hijacked photos were being posted. I don't think I have ever mentioned you, since I don't know you and you don't seem very interesting to me. I DO KNOW F3 and Mortman personally, and therefore intervened in their argument.
