It wasn't a good experiment. As I've stated before I use a simple rating system. Do I want to fuck her? If someone insists I convert a Boolean scale to a numeric scale, then they are likely only getting a 4, 5, or 6 (I don't want to fuck her, maybe, or I think I want to fuck her).
Based on the photo I don't want to fuck her. If I wanted to appear as if I have higher standards, I'd have simply done an image search, found out who she was then rated her at whatever level I thought you would rate her. Because the sure-fire way to impress others with your taste is to agree with them.
To add more confusion, I think the girl is attractive. I'd be happy to look at her, but her look isn't sexually enticing to me. As I said before, this forum is about fucking, not looking. Next time clarify the parameters of your experiment.
Your own "simple" rating system is useless for other mongers. Let's say, you went to La Isla on day X, and you want to write a report about it and share your experience. How would you describe the talent on the day you went there, so that other posters or newbies, at least had an idea of the quality (optics) of talent there? It would be something like, hmmm, out of 100 girls, there were a few I would fuck, a few I would maybe fuck, and the rest I would not fuck? Very "informative". And your desire to session with La Isla girl would not only depend on the talent there, but also on other factors. How tired or horny you were, money or budget situation, etc.
You think the girl on the photo was attractive, but still rated her 4 or 5, confusing everybody here. If you don't use 1-10 scale, don't rate the girls according to that scale. Your desire to fuck her has nothing to do with her objective attractiveness.

Some of these guys are so old they probably don't even know who J balvin let alone any of the less known artist are in Colombia LOL. Yet they claim they receive better chemistry and better sex than others lmao. Let them think that. And if they think music doesn't have any effect with connecting and vibing with these girls they are only lying to themselves. Let them just pretend they know the lyrics and believe they are having some sort of emotional connection LOL.
Your desire to fuck her has nothing to do with her subjective attractiveness.
Fixed that for you! Attractiveness is just flat out NOT objective. As an example, South Sea Islanders (Samoa, Fiji, etc.) tend to think, the bigger the better. There is an African tribe where attaining beauty involves putting rings around your neck to stretch it. Maybe it helps with deep throat or something but a lot of people would just think it was weird. I don't like plastic surgery, lots of makeup, lots of perfume, or lots of tattoos. So if I think a woman with fake tits, two kilos of mascara and three big tramp stamps is unattractive, that is subjective because someone else (and yes, probably someone younger) might think she is hawt AF. Objectively, we could count the tramp stamps, weigh the mascara, or measure the fake tits.
Obviously the rating is on the photo and I can't say whether it is slightly photoshopped, severely photoshopped or not at all and you are quite right the rating in the flesh could possibly go down as well. I have actually seen in the flesh two Miss Universes and one Miss World, one Miss Universe and the Miss World I found very hot and was attracted to. The other Miss Universe was not really my type but she had an amazing body and I could see why people could think her face was really beautiful and I would have no objection to her being rated highly.
That is what I am trying to get to. I think the photo is photoshopped, so the rating will go down to below 7. Then for example, if I prefer girls with dark skin, the rating can go down more. RIght? At this point, it will be close to 4.
If you show two photos with different skin colors, then you may come to a different conclusion.

As a matter of fact similarly even rating a girl one has seen in the flesh. I have no problem with a guy rating a girl I think is a 3 as a 9. I am happy for him as he may very well think a girl I rate as a 9 is a 3. Rating girls is an exercise in folly if taken seriously.

Rating girls is an exercise in folly if taken seriously.
Its an exercise in male immaturity. I'm old myself; old enough to remember when this numerical rating of women's appearance was a trend. The late 70's. It even sparked a popular country song by Bobby Bare, called "Numbers". (check it out, it's funny https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8WKEs6y8qw). And the Blake Edwards film, "10" which is worth a watch too for Dudley Moore's performance. Teen girls filled the mall where I worked with ridiculous t-shirts marked with a large 10, even though it was always wishful thinking on their part.
But, that folly passed like all other trends (like the "Pet Rock") and by the end of the 20th century, rating girls by numbers was relegated to adolescent males, for the most part. Which brings us to an important point I need to make here. If you are still immature enough to use numbers, you are too young for this hobby. Yes, that's right. Punting is an old man's hobby. If you are young, you can still be and should be pursuing relationships with ordinary civilian girls while you can, before their attitude turns toxic. When there are still good women worth having and available (because they get scarce in their 30's and what is left over can be dicey).
Punters have typically been mature men like myself, who still crave young women and of course, married men who need something other than their spouse to suit their carnal needs. All of the GPS in Brazil, whom I have queried about their client base have told me the same thing. 90% of their clients are married and usually older men. Because if you are single young man in Brazil, you are living in a nation full of fun women. Anytime I've come across fellow punters in South America (usually entering or leaving a brothel) my counterparts are usually mature like myself. This has happened in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia. And even in Pattaya, which is like the Disney World for males, the average age of the male visitor seems well over 30, or 40 even.
I never got serious about punting until I got divorced at the ripe age of 57, and found myself outside of the league of hot, young sluts. Not to mention that divorce left me near broke for a few years. Punting turned out to more cost efficient and less frustrating than dating.
That said, if you are under 40 and pursuing some fap fantasy about paying for sex, you are wasting your life. All I can say is go find a girlfriend, while you still can.
I stayed at Boulevard Botero in front of the church on the 2nd or 3rd floor for a month in the window room. Spent 3 months at the hotel (red, white, black) on the side of the church before it changed to ST only rooms. I was on the second floor in the large window room. I can assure everyone that I saw more for more hours than anyone else. You are wrong!
I was with a sweet new girl around age 19 5 different times. Then left Colombia and returned 7 months later and she had new older (30+) friends. She was not worth a shit after her new friends messed her up. One night looking out the window with the lights off I saw her being used as sexy bait to get this drunk guy around the corner of the church so the older girls could rob him. They tried getting in his backpack while the young sexy girl flirted with him. They gave up after 15 minutes. But I guarantee he did not make it home with all his stuff.
Well yeah being alone wasted at night in that area is asking for trouble, that's his mistake. Also he had backpack on which to them screams he's got something valuable on him.
I witnessed an assault on a backpacker en el Centro en broad daylight. None of the pedestrians in the area batted an eye.
That said, I never had a problem en el Centro. But you have to pay attention to whats around you and take that x3 if its after dark
I have seen locals get assaulted in broad daylight but never a foreigner. I have heard stories though but it usually involves some issue in regards to money, drugs, females, or they are just being obnoxious and super flashy. But with that being said yeah I guess its possible for a foreigner to get robbed in broad daylight for no reason, I just never seen it.
...In fact, I just got back to the US early this month after a 2. 5 week stay. I never felt in danger at any time. ...
It's a probability and can be random. I have walked the same route more than 50 times, and felt no danger at all. Until the 51st time when I was blocked by 2 men at 10 am, and not in Centro. I am sure I won't feel that comfortable walking the same route if this happens to me the first time I walked the route. So one must take that into consideration. People react to incident differently. Some people are calm and collected like the member that was robbed by Tinder date. Some would leave and never return.

And seeing as how you like women with rings around their necks and fat Samoan women, what are you doing in a Colombia forum?

We do a thing called talk to each other. I would even be tempted to say that you have to play all of this music to avoid having to converse with each other because you probably do not have shit in common in the first place. Just because the taxi driver plays Bad Bunny does not mean we are establishing a connection and vibing while I am riding in his car.

Every time I read a report of how hot the chick was then I scroll and click on the pictures to see a chick with a bunch of tattoos I am like oh god no. My eyes see that shit and I automatically can not look any further to see if there is any underlying beauty. It is just not SUBjectively (which means only MY opinion) attractive to me. Like you said, if we could count the tattoos and come to an convention that 10 tattoos or more equal attractive, then we would be on to some OBjective standards.
Of course if you are a thief you want to target rich areas. It only makes sense. So does that mean I should not go to the upper west side of Manhattan and instead go to Hunts Point NY? Just to be clear when you wrote 25 killed in Medellin where are you getting that number? If you check El Colombiano newspaper, as of October there were 20 extranjero deaths. This includes Americans, Dominicans, Spaniards, and the UK. This does not mean they were all murdered in Poblado. The breakdown according to the paper is 3 were homicide related, 1 traffic accident, 2 from cheap unsafe surgeries, there was also 2 hit jobs related to drug deals. The rest were mainly criminal / drug related. El Centro is a haven for thieves to quickly move and attack mostly the poor that go there. The paper also mentioned that numbers are not kept for the illegals that are frequently targeted or involved. Poblado and Laureles are not completely safe by any means but please lets not mislead readers of el centro. It is a dirty dingy place.
If you're a thief or a local struggling in Medellin, and wanted to target gringos or a group of people that you either despise or know has extra cash, where would you go? It's all over the news, 25 gringo or so killed in Medellin in 2022 alone approx 9 or 10 were violent crimes. None were in centro. All targeted from airport, tinder meets, or el Poblado since that's the concentrated area. Even a headless chicken could understand that logic. Centro is not the safest but as a gringo your not safer in el Poblado. I get harassed by cops all the time in that area to see if I have drugs. Not once in centro. These are facts.
.
Hey guys, what would be your prefered way to hit up on local girls in Medellin during the day? Shopping center or something else? I was thinking of Centro Comercial Santa Fe.
Does it give a breakdown by region of the city? Although we might think most tourists stay in Poblado, I doubt that is true. Maybe most gringos stay there, but I doubt most Latinos stay there. And I bet the biggest number of tourists would be Latinos.
