Vung Tau. This place is a $10 hydrophoil ride from Saigon. The river ride is nice, especially oon the way back as you can imagine what it was like for the French when they first sailed into Saigon, bringing the word of God and the clap with them.
Vung Tau was where the US forces eventually departed (except for those who pulled out from the Embassy's roof 2 years later). Because of VT's positoon, there is a lot of sailors and therefore a lot of hookers. I could not find a good pizza joint though:(

Then we take off on the bike and cruise around. We are tailed by two of the bar women on separate bikes. One of them draws level with us, says something (as the mobiles do their duty). Then we veer off and go up some dark and lonely side streets with the outriders playing guardian angel'flankers. We finally go into a building with very big and solid doors. When I emerge, the outriders are there again.
d. I got my dick played with at the karaoke but I argued over the tab. Skip the karaokes. Also, if you are still reading this, you will notice the other ladies were very security conscious; not those ones who agreed to come back to my hotel - but did not know, as the others did, that my hotel and most others are out of bounds to working women.
e. Lots of other talent around. A pretty lady offered me herself for $10 but $10 extra for the room and the mamasan.
There are some nice ladies to be had there but the security is somewhat off putting.
Even though the cops have a low profile, rest assured they are everywhere.
Now I am back in Saigon in District 1.

Nice posts. You portray a side of Vietnam I never saw, and I was living there for six months! Though I lived in Hanoi, I was often in Saigon and never had a problem bringing ladies to my hotel rooms, never underwent the scrutiny (at least not that I was aware of) that you did, and never really felt hassled. Most of the girls I picked up were from bars and clubs, and I never did any of the motorcycle mamas so that could account for some of the differences. I would guesstimate, on average, I spent about $25 per encounter, but that was for the whole night, and for women with all of their teeth. I agree that bbbjs are universal in Vietnam and no woman I ever met had to be asked for this service.
I saw from your post in the Saigon section that you were not overly impressed with the place. I thought it was beautiful, but I must admit I prefer Hanoi. You might want to give that place a try next time. It's more laid back, and there's plenty to do and see.

I would like to have more information about Hoi An. I'm planning a 3 day rest in this little city, that I think is one of the most turistic place all over Vietnam, but I wasn't able to find any information about it.
Any advice? Is it a mongering place or not? Any suggestion about hotels?

Hoi An is a wonderful little town and you should have a great time there. Stay at one of the two seaside resorts as the beaches are really nice, the scenery terrific and the service excellent. I think the place I stayed last year was the Victoria and I loved it.
The beach resorts are about a 10 minute drive, by hotel bus, motorcycle or taxi from the resorts. I rented a motorcycle when I was there and made the trip abut twice a day. There are lots of local bars in the towns and I don't think that women would be a problem, but I did not try as I was there with my wife. If in doubt however, stop in Danang first (you have to fly there anyway) and pick up a woman there and take her to Hoi An.
It's true that the town is touristy, and there are loads of street stalls selling the usual crap, but the Chinese sites are worth seeing, and you can spend a very pleasant couple of hours taking a walking tour of these sites. There are also a number of reasonably-priced restaurants all over the place, serving Western and Vietnamese foods.
There are also lots of fairly cheap, small hotels in the town if you do not want to spend the money to stay on the beach. Vietnam airlines has packages most of the time, that include the flights, the local transport to and from the airport and the hotels. This is cheaper than making all of the arrangements yourself. When I went, the arrangements went very well. I liked the place so much, I plan to return this December for the Xmas holidays.

I checked the Hotel you told me (is it the Victoria Hoi An Resort?) on the LP guide, but I saw it costs US$120++. A little bit overpriced for my standards, normaly close to the US$20 range or just a little bit more.
What I'm thinking is coming by a night train from Hanoi to Huč and, after some days there, then a local bus journey from Huč to Hoi An.
What I was able to find all over the net about Hoi An is just a couple of suggestions on two bars, the Polite Bar and R&R Tavern. I'll report back in september.

I spent a couple of days in Hue and, asode from the Citadel, I thought it was a complete waste of time. It's not attractive, I did not like the Hotels and the bars were only mediocre. Yes, the Victoria Hoi An is the hotel I talked about. There are however, lots of small, clean hotels in the town itself. Again. I would start in Hanoi, hand around the expat pubs and clubs for a couple of days and get some current advice from the guys who live there all the time.
Why spend upwards of $50 or more for a hotel when you can have just as nice a place for $10-15 per night.
I just came back from VN and visited Nha Trang, Dalat, Chau Doc, Vung Tau and didn't pay over $14 per night and the rooms were awesome. Here's a recommendation for Nha Trang. The Tay Ho Hotel was $14/night for a suite and was directly across from the beach and about 1 block down from the night market. It's 98B Tran Phu Street, phone is 84-5-852-4242 or 4244. They are really nice there also. If you need a motorcycle to rent, they can get you a decent bike for about $5/day + petrol.
All the places I stayed there were plenty of girls around that were available and looking for men to play with. The hotels didn't even ask my wife and I for our marriage papers as the larger hotels have done in the past. The resort hotels will try to charge you for 2 rooms if you can't prove you are married.
Saigon has mini-hotels all over that are no questions asked as to who comes back with you. Just don't let the local police see you going with different girls back to the hotel. They may get pissed and hassle you somewhat, but americans normally don't have a problem as they are afraid you will run to the embassy and they will get their butt chewed for bothering you.

Just came back recently from a 3 day stint in Nha Trang. Still the best place to go and kick back in Vietnam in my opinion. I was not there for the sole purpose of getting laid so my report actually came about by a chance encounter.
A late night after partying at the Sailing Club down on Tran Phu St. i got asked by a moped driver if i wanted a girl. This is pretty common in Nha Trang. They will drive up to you and ask you if you need to go somewhere, massage, beach, get laid.
He wanted 500,000 dong for 1 girl, for the whole night. I got him down to 400,000 + 150,000 for hotel room (mine wouldnt let her in) + 50,000 his fee (driving me around).
He then drove me around to see a bunch of girls until i found one that i liked. Drove me to hotel and picked me up in the morning. I thought that was pretty reasonable for 50,000 dong.
The girl was probably a 7 of 10 but she kept trying to rush me so i told her there's no rush...haha i dont think she walked straight the next day.
All in all 600,000 dong or 40 us dollars for everything is not bad
