I need to point out that the Armida is the best Hotel in town and is frequented by Mexican businessmen - quite respectable. However, it is not at all a fancy place. Its more like an old Best Western in a Midwestern USA town.
The stripper bar is only frequented by local Mexicans, but is quite safe. Nevertheless, it is not a fancy place and the privado booths are very basic. So, don't expect this to be a top of the line place.

There is a newer motel strip where the Fiesta American and Anoriza (spelling?) hotels are located. (Both of these hotels are quite comfortable, international, business class hotels and are "chica" friendly if she comes in dressed like a college girl and it's not later than say 7 - 8 PM.)
