Curitiba

There was a question about Curitiba - Foz do Iguazu bus. I took one from Curitiba to Foz, but not the other way.

I cannot remember all the details, but there are about 4-5 buses daily. There are a couple that leave Curitiba early in the day, and then the rest leave at 10 pm ish for overnight ride. One-way ride takes 9 hours, so you will be arriving at Foz either in early evening or early morning.

Fares vary depending on which bus you take. I think it goes something like R$59 to 65. One overnighter is a leito (deluxe) that goes for something like R$140. I took the leito, but don't think it was worth the fare difference.

These buses can sell out. I would not go to the station without purchasing tickets in advance. There is only one company that runs between Curitiba - Foz proper. But, there is another company that runs from Curitiba to Ciudad del Leste in Paraguay. I believe they drop passengers at Foz.

I have been to brazil twice this past year. I am going to be going for about 6 to 8 months and am planning to travel around all over. How do you and nibu get around .. by bus?
Also I was thinking of maybe going to some other countries in south america. Airline prices seem so high within south america.
do you know of a cheaper way?

I would not call Sexy a top boate for Curitiba.
One thing about Caffe Sahara, since it is considered to be located in the suburb (whatever that means) there is no bedroom upstairs, only private large booth with no shower so negotiate to go back to your hotel. It has large selection, some girls from Sauna Imperial end their day here.
Curitiba is R$150 for short time and R$200 for long time.
Cafe Photo has changed its name to some italian name but forgot name. Small selection up to 30 girls. Live band.
Metro has some real Playboy playmates show but they are not available for play.
Crystal is like a boate, similar concept of boates in SP, plenty of rooms upstairs. Large selection.
Casa Nova is similar to ex Cafe Photo, small selection like 30.
For Classisex, my advice is to negotiate on the phone options upfront BBBJ, kissing, anal. They are all R$150 plus taxi. Expect a drop off in looks from pictures.
Sauna Imperial has average selection especially compared to termas in Rio but services is phenomenal so I highly recommend. With luck you can end up with a 6 or 7 but expect a 10 in bed. Total cost is R$110 with 1 or 2 drinks.
There are other day time options, mps but I do not know names and locations.
They do have universities in Curitiba but my feeling the best looking girls all end up in SP and Rio.

Yeah we traveled to Rio by bus is only a 5 hour trip so I don´t think is worth to pay R$140 (still cheap only 45 US) vs R$45. I also went to curitiba by bus R$70 in a leito, 5 hours overnight, or R$35 regular bus (almost 7 hours during the day due to traffic in SP) . airplane to Curitba was like R$230.

In the past I´ve used plaens extensively, mainly when I ws able to get good deals, but apparently prices has risen due to the war. In February I paid R$230 Sp-salvador, R$120 Campo Grande-Sp, R$120 SP-Floripa, R$120 Floripa-PoA, R$150 PoA-SP, all great prices, but as soon as the war started prices started to climb and have stayed up there.

You are right about prices within south America, they are expensive, but due to the high distances, bad roads, and topography you may have no choice. For me my limit is 10 hours on a bus, If it takes longer than that I plane it. For example SP Salvador is something ridiculous, like 2 or 3 days in a bus!!! when you get there you wont have energies for the garotas.

I´m jealous, I´m leaving Brasil in 4 days and you ar gonna be there 8 months!!! I hate you

Enjoy your last days... Understandable about hating me .. I would too. That is the normal response I get when I share my plans.
I am planning to spend a little time in Rio to get my terma fill.. and then I am going to travel all over Brazil.. with no schedule.
I surf so .. I will be doing that when I am not doing Garotas.
Looks like I am going to be flying to farther destinations . and then busing to other locals.
Have you been keeping notes ?
I plan too. I might be asking for some links or help in the future.

R [/i][/QUOTE]Yeah, first time I went to Brazil in 1990, I was shocked at the air travel prices within the country. Way more than comparable distances within the USA, for sure. But I have always enjoyed the Brazil Air Pass, it really is a good deal if you use it. The only bummer is that now you must plan all of your stops in advance, or risk paying a penalty fee. Still, you can save a lot of money in airfares if you fly in from the USA or Europe. It cannot be purchased in Brazil.

Perguntas (Questions). Many have highly recommended Sauna Imperial for good service. What is the address, what are the opening hours, how do I get there?

I will be staying at the Condor Hotel, near the Rodoferroviaria. Is this a girlfriend friendly hotel?

I believe that there are inexpensive prives & other places near the Rodoferroviaria. Any information appreciated.

CURITIBA - City of "Big Busty Blondes" - Fun at the Sauna Imperial !!

SP's main bus station - Rodaviario Tiete - inside it is not as dangerous & hazardous as reports have made it out to be. Went there a couple of days early to buy tickets. Just like a busy airport, there is security, for the departing & arriving passengers.

It is interesting to look around the various bus company ticket booths & to notice how cheap it is to travel not only within Brasilian cities, but also to take an International trip to Argentine, Paraguay, Chile etc.

Booked a Sao Paulo to Curitiba ticket on the ITAPEMIRIM Bus co. They have 3 or 4 grades of buses. Booked the 7 hour luxury "Golden" bus - the comfortable seats compared very favorably with airline business class, a bargain at R 51. The bus stoped every 3 hours for a 30 mts break at an roadside mini-mall/restraurant.

The city has the Linha Turismo bus, which does a 3 hour circular trip, stopping at 17 attractions. R10 for the ticket with 4 coupons. The restored area near Largo da Ordem & Praca Tiradentes has many "happy hour" bars/restraurants with non- pro's. But Portuguese is essential.

The hotel doorman, recommended a place, which he claimed had the Garotas who gave the best service & had the best attitude. He was absolutely correct, the Garotas offered complete service with all positions & had a friendly attitude.

Took a taxi & at about 7pm on a Tuesday, walked in to a medium size Boite, with a bar in the back. No entrance fee. Coke/Beer was R3. Garota drinks from R10. There were about 10 other clients.

Dressed in evening dresses and smiling back at me was 25 to 30 Garotas. There was 1 Mulatta and 2 or 3 browned skined Morena's - the rest were "BIG BUSTY BLONDES" from Curitiba's vast German, Italian, Polish & Russian community.

I highly recommend - SAUNA IMPERIAL - for fun loving Garotas with a great attitude. Most of them were grades 7, with a few grade 8.
