I guess there are less girls to go around than say Dubai, and they are catering for a more Arab than ex-pat market so can get away with charging more. Don't forget the Middle-East lads like to flaunt it and are very competitive when in comes to spending money, and some of them do have a lot of it.

The Dutch newspaper "Algemeen Dagblad" reports on its website today that Lebanon has 5 times more women then men. I felt that this was an interesting perspective for us mongerors. The country seems to have potential if the male to female is true as reported (although I doubt the ratio personally 5:1 seems to high way to high!)
