There is a fishbowl place in Solo which I give my blessings.

They tent to have around ten girls various quality but general in the higher end. The rates are R250 for 2 hours or 400 all night. This is take out. Price might be negotiated down, but did not try. One pays in advance ( I did half ,half as did not know the joint)

What is your definition of Kalimantan ?? Kalimantan Island is also known as Borneo. Thus, there are 3 seperate and distinct countries on the island of Borneo. There is the Malaysian side, consisting of Serawak and Sabah, very good mongering explanation on the Malaysian Forum, there is the Bruneian side, not much action there and there is the Indonesian side, consisting of several provinces.

Most of the inhabitants of the Indonesian side, as far as *****s are concern, do come from all of the outer islands, such as Jawa, Sulawesi etc. Most of the *****s in the big eastern-side cities of Kalimantan, i.e. Balikpapan, Samarinda, Tarakan, Banjarmasin, Nunukan, are being exported from Surabaya. These girls are mostly Javanese or Sundanese. In some of the western-side cities of Kalimantan, i.e. Pontianak, you can find some local poor Chinese girls.

The original inhabitants of Kaliamantan are the coastal-Malay on the various coastal cities and the various Dayak nations on the interior jungle. The coastal Malay are devoted Muslim and the interior jungle Dayaks are devoted Catholics. Ofcourse, both the Malay or the Dayak do mix their anismistic traditions with their "new" religion. Socially, the Malay and the Dayaks are more or less like the Balinese, they would easily accept you into their society. However, it is almost impossible for you to land with a real local girl for mongering.

For indonesian Kalimantan I mean Balikpapan and Samarinda towns. I will reach those towns and I have just known the girls there are crazy about strangers but you have just confirmed your contrary opinions.

If you are looking for a working-girl, then definitely Balikpapan is the place; but, most likely you would end-up with a girl from either the island of Java or Sulawesi. Very unlikely you would really get a REAL local girl, either a Tidung Malay or a Dayak. That is my point, buddy.

I was there a couple of years ago. In my experience there were quite a lot of pickup places. In common, the houses with let down wooden sunscreens (when they are not supposed to be used) are the ones.

After one week in Jogya and suroundings here are some info:

Hotel Batik Jogjakarta II (Jalan Dagen) close to Jalan Malioboro, 170000 double room per night including breakfast and there is a swiming pool. girl friendly.

To get girls go to Hugo's Cafe (jalan Solo) 22:00 till 03:00.

Another good place is Disco Papillon ask for addres 'cos I forget but is close to Jalan Malioboro.

Disco Piramid is dead from Monday to Thursday, go only at weekend.

All the massage parlour are bad quality and overpriced
Massge Parlour Corona is good but expensive 500000++

40 Km form Jogya there is Parangtritis beach (50000 by taxi) there you can find a street with some girls houses, in the aftermoon you'll can find some good girls. Local people pay 40000, don't pay more than 100000 for an hour (BBJ and FS).

Don't pay more than 300000 for full night.

For reasons explained in my Jakarta posting, not much to report. However, I did wander into a bar in Jl. Solo (left hand side going away from Novotel about 200m from the Galleria cross roads) where there were girls available. On what terms and with what language skills I wasn't able to establish.
