If your looking at LTR with Foreign Women through those "Rose Colored" glasses I would tend to agree, but what I have been advocating around here is not bottom of the barrel women from developing countries. In fact for clarity, I would say it would be best to merge all the [i]Marriage Minded Threads[/i] into this one forum, I think that is the goal of the eternal question; What Country Has The Best Women For Long Term Relationships?
I would like to also address some other points made by you two...
I have communicated well with Foreign Women since 1992 but only recently have made the devotion to traveling to places. If I wasn't constantly looking for the "best possible outcome" I can firmly say I would be with a nice German lady (single mother of 2) and maybe perfectly happy, but I went after the younger Norwegian woman and that failed.
So this is NOT a pointless venture, it about picking my spots...
I don't have the same access in America mostly because up to this point refuse to play the "Game" in a traditional sense. I also have a new foundation of numbers to play with and it says to widen my pool I need to also consider women overseas, the market for the woman I am looking for is a bit too narrow in scope to give myself a fair shot even if I did add a 4 year degree to my list of accomplishments as many upper tier women demand.
My age is also coming into play and far too many AW are uncomfortable with more than a 2-5 year age difference. I desire to have children, ready-made is really not an option (no single mothers) so that means approaching this as a pragmatist.
I am not ruling out North America completely, that would be unfair to myself, however as I said going back to the 2-5 year rule means most women that would be interested are 32-40 years old. A majority of those women have at least one child from a previous relationship.
I've done my share of banging [i]whales[/i] its no longer acceptable to me.
I say for the vast majority of men in the margins, widening your pool is the only way to success.
Besides, why are you guys concerned about the few AM smart enough to consider a relationship with foreign women??? I know deep down you careless about the outcome...

Is there anywhere in the world where there aren't women who figure "it's just as easy to fall in love with a rich guy"? I'm not just talking about the cash-at-the-counterpane GDP; there's also "Senorita Girasol" who works hard all year for her two weeks at the ocean, and spends part of her time fantasizing about how it would be to [i]live[/i] in the house on the hill overlooking the beach where she's sunbathing with her friends.
If that were [i]my[/i] house, might she find it worthwhile getting to know me? Especially in a country, a region, a part of the world where an older boyfriend didn't invoke such an "Ewwww" status as it does in the USA?
I am working toward a move offshore, to a country where my current financial situation (modest by the standards of the Washington, DC area) would put me solidly in the status of "well-off, maybe even wealthy". South America, most likely, because the ladies are very much to my taste and I already have some fluency in the languages; also, because there's less of an "ewwww factor" regarding an older man as a 'boyfriend'.

yes i agree (was it chocha monger?) scandinavian countries are also great. women are white, thinner than in the good ol usa, probably because they eat some pretty nasty shit like blood pudding etc, and they usually buy their own beer, which drives them to a sense of economy american women lack as they pay their half of expenses, they pay half or all of any baby expenses, and they don't feel especially driven to get married. the only problem is the scandinavian countries have extremely high taxes, cost of living is also very high, and living conditions (especially with long winters) are not always as good as in the usa. however it is true women pick YOU up in the bar pay all expenses apparently they think american accents are hot, so i guess one could just shack up with some scandinavian hotty, and, should the dreary winter become to long, one can get flights to bangkok with a layover in amsterdam. i think i would chose one of those countries for ltr.

Well, it sounds like South America would be the best bet for you,
but I don't know anything about the migratory patterns of chicas,
so you will have to seek other advice for that.
I think the challenge is that if you want to have a turn-over of fresh flesh,
you need to be somewhere the chicas come, rather than where they live.
But I am not sure that is how things work in South America.
I get the sense that the girls in your target market don't travel much.
At the same time, you do want to have a supply of local talent available
for booty calls, because you will not always succeed in seducing tourist girls.
So you need a few low-status locals who will accept being treated as second stringers.
That is why I thought of Eastern Europe, where the wanna-be middle class
girls flock to visa-free warmer climes when they can, and expect to have
sexual adventures when they do so and dream of making this their lifestyle.
But you don't have to locate in Ukraine or Russia to do this.
You would locate yourself in a popular warm & cheap visa-free destination.
For me that would be a place like Dubrovnik in Croatia or Montenegro -
Greece-like climates, but drawing a larger fraction of their tourist trade from
poorer Eastern European countries than Greece, which presumably is littered
with American and British and European students and young women.
All very nice, but not your (or my) target market.
They are not going to go for much older guys.
But dyevs and chicas will.
So what's the South American or Latin American equivalent of this scenario?
Maybe someone else can advise you.
But invite me when you settle in...
