I would guess about a mile from the bridge. Go away from the bridge until you see the first main street(4 lane if I remember correctly). Go right about one block. The place is upstairs, if I remember correctly over an auto parts house.
Went by last fall, one employee, 40 to 50, so ugly she scared me.

That said, we all know the employees change on a regular basis and I would look one more time if I was in J. town.

I used to drink beer with Elvis at the old Texas Bar (now Texas Auto Sales) on the Gateway and Vulcan in northeast El Paso years ago. He insisted he wasn't an impersonator but I saw him at a fund raiser on TV once. Cool guy.

Oh yeah, then there was the Jim Morrison look a like that went to another bar I used to go to on Dyer street.

Short ones, fat ones, Chinese ones, all sorts of ones with parachutes on (I watched them make that scene in Honeymoon In Vegas with the Flying Elvii). As far as Morrison goes - I've never seen a lookalike in these parts but I have seen his ghost a few times in his old room 32 at the Alta Cienega 'Motor Lodge' in L.A. (where I've passed out on more than one occasion over the last 15 years) and I've had the pleasure of swinging a few beers with his old bodyguard (lives in Vegas).

The nite I checked out the Hawaiin, the 'doorman' was wearing a Morrison t-shirt, tho'...

No curly hair, but now I remember the girl in question told me the blond hair were actualy extensions. She told me her name was Elizabeth, and I was thinking I might have misunderstood her name. I din't see a tatoo on the hidden fees girl

I thought Centro would be hopping with the bars open until three, but the place was pretty dead - dead enough that the cops had time to hassle me. Everyone must be taking in the culture at Festival International. The cuties I saw at Dia y Noche last week weren't there last night. Rancho Grande and Virginia's were both closed. Funny Face is back working at Virginia's.

Saturday night was a bummer that could have been great if I had run into at least one of you guys. Friday night wasn't much better.

I also had a shake down from the cops. I had just left Las Palmeras and popped my head in Fatty Central and was headed to the Del Rio when 2 cops got this ATM look on their faces. I discretely kiss my money good bye but all they did was look me over asked then accused me of drinking and handed back my wallet intact. They pressed that I was drinking and in mid sentance told me to stay away from bad girls and walked off.
