Does anyone know if the Colonial Hotel is still in business and is it still girl friendly? Are there any other options? I will be there in March.

Sorry that it took me so long to write the rest of the info and let tell you fellow mongers taht it was never my intention to let the info on the casas incomplete.

Sorry it took me so long but I'm going to start with this place.

The location:

Rua Vicente Leite 2020.

This place is a great option for all the mongers in this city.

You will find a team of 15-30 girls sometimes more or less and I think they open early like 6 P.M. or something.

Didn't really test any girl since I was just looking around but what I saw was good.

The best thing about it, the price 70 reais and trust me for the quality is quite a bargain.

Well, that's the first one and I hope it was of some help I'll be posting some more places because I believe some mongers have just lost their hopes for this city.

This is Michelle, this is one of my favourites from Fortaleza. She lives together with an older girlfriend, and I have spendt the nights with her and them in their flat (room), in hotels and at my house. I have posted photos from her earlier. Im sure many of this board know her well.

I have been reading these posts since 2003. I keep reading how the Fortaleza girls, including the girls in Iracema, are short and fat and ugly. I visited Fortaleza twice, in 11/03 and 11/05. I saw fairly good looking girls all over the place, especially in Iracema, and I am picky. I met loads of tourists from Europe and the US in Fortaleza. Not one of them ever thought the girls in Fortaleza were bad looking. Why do you think all those Europeans are going there, and returning over and over? For the food?

I expect posts to come on right away starting tomorrow to say that it is true that there are very few good looking girls there. But I advise those who have never been there to keep an open mind and not be swayed by what you read on these boards. There just seems to be an obsession about putting down Fortaleza girls. Why not Recife or some of those other northeastern cities? The girls there are not better than in Fortaleza.
