I have been going to Pattaya in Thailand for 17 years now my best holiday was my first holiday which was in 1994 but I think now it is getting very exspensive. Walking street go-go bars most are charging 85 baht for a so called half pint which I find exspensive. A roast beef or roast lamb dinner from 195 baht this could be due to the exchange rate. A few years ago I was getting between 65 to 69 baht to the english pound and thats about 30 baht to the american dollar so the exchange rat does play a part but as the thai baht exchange goes down the prices are going up. One off the smaller go-go bars was charging 600 baht bar fine. I don't know about soi 6 but I think that this must be the best place in Pattaya for cheap sex. You can still get a bottle

Bottle off bear in a beer bar some open 24 hours for 50 baht. So if your thinking about coming over here make sure you have plenty off cash as I think

Prices have doubled. As I have said before its the exchange rate thats crap.

Also at this time off year it is very quiet at least 50% off the girls have gone to Bangkok and the rest are about 5/6 out off 10 so nothing exciting except a few sexy go go girls which can cost you a fortune.

I think everyone will agree that the best medical facility in Pattaya is the Bangcock Hospital. It is also where you will be brougth if you can't express a different will.

Recently I accompanied a slightly hipocondriac friend as he had a cold and wanted a shot to cure it. Nowhere in the world I have ever seen a so meticously ordered and well kept facility, from the front desk to the ER. We went around midnight and he had to wait quite a long time but after all this guy didn't really had anything :)

After seeing the doctors, he goes to the pharmacy desk to get his prescribed drugs. They gave him all kinds of shit in copious quantities, painkillers, antibiotics, antistaminics, anti-inflammatory, you name it. I think that is a very bad medical practice but I would be digressing. The bill came to some 4,000 and some B, paid after the visit. I asked the young pharmacy associate if Thailand is doing something on the matter of medical marijhuana, to the only effect of placing him in deep embarassment.

Of course as soon we were outside, I told him to not even think taking any of that, and gulp down multiple shots of vodka instead and just pass the germs to the next girl.

Curiously. this is the same friend that fell with from scooter some months ago, he did go to a different clinic closer to Beach Rd, the treatments was also good for a reasonable price.

I can't agree. I was prescribed wrong medication for an illness. I can vouch for Bumrungrad in bkk, however.

For run of the mill problems, I can recommend Dr Belen clinic,, off Sai 2 just up from the Bangkok Bank in Pattaya Klang. Lovely Phillipine Doctor.

You won't be charged 4000bt there for treatment for a cold!!!

I am heading to Pattaya in October and will be staying at the Nova Platinum Hotel. I would like to get an in call massage but I don't want the normal rub and tug. I want a full 5 star 2 hour massage then with the HJ at the end. I have heard that this place has a spa but after looking at the internet it doesn't, can any conform this? Also I would like to stop by a hair salon and get a hair but plus get my pubic hair trimmer shorter too, any ideas on a place?

Uh....no......many scandals.....including a horror show ending in the death of a local farang school teacher injured on a motorsai v. cement truck....real bad, over priced place....with very little investigation and responsibility on things gone very, very bad (i.e. your death and explanation of what happened to family). (The man was transported to Sattahip on a pick up truck bleeding to death (they couldn't find his insurance coverage card). Things are forgotten quickly in Land of Smiles.
