Interesting new rule at LDV: You must spend at least 100, 000 COP to take out the lady. So before I believe it was minimum 2 drinks with the lady. I had a beer 10k, the lady 2 margaritas at 20k each, total of 50k was not enough. She ordered another margarita me a Cuba libre, it was a little annoying. Why don't they just take a bar fine to make it easier? She told me it was the new rule set by Aldo (I think that is the owner?)

There may me only an entrance fee or minimum consumption fee. Whoever gets in there solo and spends this kind of cash to take out a girl from inside and not from outside of LDV is a MORON the kind mentioned here:

Er. Uh Playa Hollywood (yes these are the hotspots for freelancers, but you will see them in the Plazas, the Plaza Santa Domingo, the Plaza de Los Coches, walking the streets in the old city, and yes. Cafe Del Mar. You can usually spot semi or pro chicas because they dress a little nicer and a little more prevocative than Colombianas that just out for stroll, and if she is dressed nice and she gives your gringo ass a smile. Definately a working girl.

I think I did a bad job explaining how to find it last time.

At the top of the WHITE part of THIS PAGF YOU ARE CURRENTLY READING you will see something very similar to what follows this sentence next to a HOME PAGE symbol:

Forum > South >America Colombia >Cartagena Reports. (there are arrows between the words but I cant type those arrows)

This signifies that you are in the FORUM, in the SOUTH AMERICA section, in the COLOMBIA Forum of the SOUTH AMERICA section and you are looking at CARTAGENA REPORTS.

Now I am giving you the shortcut to get to the CARTAGENA LISTS (where the link to Hillbilly69's Google map that he edited) reports for the COLOMBIA section of the SOUTH AMERICA section.

You go to the top of the white page you are currently on where you see that string of links;

Forum South America Colombia Cartagena Reports (with arrows in between and a HOME page symbol at the beginning)

It says Cartagena Reports at the end because you are reading Cartagena Reports, but you want to go to Cartagena Lists, so you:

Click on Colombia (which is between South America and Cartagena Reports ) to take you back to The Colombia Forum where all the City and region reports of Colombia are listed, where it lists Bogota Reports, Cartagena Reports, Cali Reports, Medellin Reports etc. All these items are next to images of envelopes (you will see when you get there)

So in that string of Links at the top of the white page you are on, the string of Links that looks similar to this:

Forum South America Colombia Cartagena Reports.

You click you mouse on "Colombia".

This takes you to the "Colombia Forum" where it lists Bogota Reports, Cartagena Reports, Cali Reports, Medellin Reports etc. All next to images of envelopes (you will see when you get there)

Once you are back in the Colombia Forum. Scroll down that list past where it says Bogota Reports, Cartagena Reports, Cali Reports, Medellin Reports etc to the 13th item that says "Cartagena Lists" CLICK ON Cartagena Lists.

Then scroll down and find Hillbilly69's post (it was the sixth post down from the last post it was posted on 4-9-13) , in his post he is talking about a restaurant called Requisimos, but at the bottom of his post is a link to his Map.

It looks like this:

Sounds to me old Aldo is getting to big for his britches.

A little bit more detail to show how fucked up this new rule is, this happened to me twice:

I talk to a girl and ask her to join me at my table, it's like 1am or so. Girl orders a drink, like a Margarita. After 30 minutes or so of chit chatting I ask her if we should leave, and she tells me she needs to order 2 more drinks, per Aldo. She orders another Margarita, drinks it in a rush in a few minutes and orders another one, dirnks that one also in a few minutes so we can go. This happened to me with 2 girls. I like it when they get drunk, but in both cases the girls couldn't handle it and got too drunk to fast. First girl recovered after a little, so it was ok. Second girl, after an hour or so puked right onto my floor, she was very sorry and cleand up. The first girl gave me her number and I called her bypassing LDV completely, she came straight to my place.

I usually sit down at LDV and order a bottle of Rum and enjoy the night, the chica scene, and I am not a cheapo. No problem spending 100 COP, but I won't take this nonsense rule anymore, next time, when I am ready to leave, the girl can meet me outside after 10 minutes or so, or find herself another dude, I am not that desperate, there are plenty of other chicas in CTG to have. May be LDV should just require a bar fine of 50ok COP or so.

LDV should just require a bar fine of 50ok COP or so.[/QUOTE]I agree with you 100 % Fun Pete, check this out: I had a friend there who lives in Laguito investigate about that ridiculous new LDV policy and he told me that they would not charge a bar fine since the disco LDV was incorporated as a regular disco in Cartagena, the minute they charge that bar fine LDV will stop being a regular disco and immidiately become a working girl house, will that cause Aldo problems? Who knows? That is also why Tu candela disco won't let single females or girls they know very well whom sell booty get in the bar just to hook up with single males in there, however, the best way to go about it without making us all feel ripped off at LDV, it is to require a 10 dollar cover charge or whatever, and then who cares whether we buy a drink or not, at least we can choose and might feel like spending a lot money on drinks if we ain't obligated to buy drinks, ain't that right?

On the other hand, Aldo tells the girls the house needs to make money I understand that and thats why that rule was carried out but I don't think that hidden 100k minimum liquor consumption is fair, I am not a heavy drinker and don't mind buying the girls a drink, but I hate feeling obligated to buy drinks I won't have just to get a ***** out of there, I'd rather spend that money on more pussy myself LOL.

I wanted to check out Electra and went at 3am. The staff was very unfriendly, kind of desperate, right away they asked me about ordering a drink. First Cuba Libre had no rum in it, I think they just forgot to add it. Half hour later I am standing by the door and the dude at the door tells me I need to consume drinks. I told him I just finished a Cuba Libre. Then I went to the bar and made sure my next Cuba Libre had some rum in it! 15, 000 COP per drink, a small drink (you can buy a 375ml bottle of Medellin rum for 15, 000 COP)! They are getting desperate I guess not having to close again. Quite a few women, but lots of trash, I. E. Left overs who couldn't find a dude, and probably some girls trying to get a second dude. Also, many of the dudes were pretty drunk and quite aggravated for whatever reason (may be on other drugs). Usually I like to enjoy the music a little at Electra, but the place was just not my kind of place, so I left after an hour or so.

Tu Candela I really enjoyed the atmosphere and music. They had a handful working girls, very obvious to spot, they usually hang around the bar and will easily make eye contact. In fact two of them arrived at the door and kissed the dude at the door, so they were regulars. I was too tired from the previous night, just wanted to enjoy a few drinks and good Colombian music. Now this is the funny part: Many tourists also hang out at Tu Candela, and there was these two quite handsome dudes who hit at these two working girls, one of the girls quite good looking. Obviously, it was very easy to make contact with the girls; shortly after a big bottle of rum was ordered, and not too long after the dudes were dancing with the girls, holding hands, etc. The dudes looked very happy as they were sure they were going to score. Later on I saw them separated and the dudes did not look that happy anymore, I guess they found out there was a price to be paid. So even when you are good looking, the chicas will only go with you if you pay them or have some kind of benefit. If they want to screw around and have fun, they will do it with the locals.
