What is happening now is Biden is going to have to make a flip. He was elected because he was a moderate and he needs to quit acting like a leftist. He was almost saying to Biden, "I know the words in that horrible speech weren't yours. I know you better than that."

Bill Clinton turned the corner and went to a more moderate position. The question is Biden going to do that or stay as lost as Carter was. I just do not see it. Biden is a liar, a finger pointer, and cannot admit when he screws up. I see another Carter, but Carter was a nice guy, and Biden is not.

I have a lot of respect for Clinton. He was the rare politician who could admit when he screwed up. I remember after 9-11 Clinton saying, "I wish I had gone after Bin Laden harder." I had so much respect for him saying that.

California.

Now what do all of these states have in common? They are all run by progressives (Wokes, Democaratic Party, American Marxists). All 5. And as a result all these states suffer high taxes, high violent crime, poor education, and excessive government mandates. And their citizens want out. They don't want to live here anymore. And it's hundreds of thousands of people, we're not talking about 30 or 40 people, we're talking hundreds of thousands. Illinois is a disaster, so is California and as a result all 3 states are losing their tax base as affluent citizens and successful business leave and violent crime and taxes rise. Interestingly the 5 winners, the states where people are moving to according to United Van Lines are 1. Vermont, a liberal state, but very libertarian (it is a strong 2nd amendment state with a very low cost of living, and taxes are are not crazy.), 2. South Dakota (Conservative), 3. South Carolina (Conservative), 4. West Virginia (Conservative), 5. Florida (Conservative & mandate free). I live in the free state of Florida. It's great! IMHO it is the best state in the USA. The economy is booming and there is no state tax and it never had Covid mandates.

One is that xenophobic uneducated wingers are moving from states with high populations of immigrants to low education states like Florida and Texas where they'll fit in better with their fellow deplorables.

The second reason is taxes. Wingers would rather move to a low tax state so that they can get freebies from the federal gummint. 'Cause that's what wingers do. They talk a good game but states with the largest influx of federal dollars are red.

But, if the wingers get their way and we have a national divorce, blue states can lower their tax base because they don't have to give back to the red states. We can then build a wall around the red states and let them rot.

Is it because Repubs are too stupid and incompetent to produce any other results or is it because producing economic disasters is their only Party mission? Not that it matters which it is. I'm just curious to know if any wingers here can shed light on that age old question.

Repubs wouldn't have to lie, cheat, steal, rig and riot violently against free and fair elections in order to "win" them if they would simply stop producing Great Repub Crashes that destroy retirements, lose Trillions of taxpayers' dollars and wipe out millions of USA jobs every time they slither into office and get their way.

Maybe those people took their lifelong income advantages and investment gains, converted their residents into rental property and bought some cheap home in a depressed red state for cash or leased at ridiculously low rent rates.

That is similar to what I did at retirement from California. But I chose a place to live in retirement that provides a hell of a lot more fun, pleasure and comfort advantages than any red state you've got.
