For all of you wondering or arguing about india, let me break it down for you.

As an indian who has spent most of his life abroad, I have to say, india is severely lacking. As a tourist, india is not a bad place to visit. As a monger, india is most probably the last place in the world you want to visit.

You see the pictures of the indian actresses? Yeah, I dunno where those chicks come from, and if you would classify them as a 10 [among indian women], I've never seen one that even comes close to a 6 in real life, and I've been living here [india] for the past two and a half years. There are reports of red light districts in places like bombay and calcutta [or Mumbai and kolkata as they are referred to now], but really, I expect them to be rated in the negative when compared to foreign women.

As a human being, india is, quite frankly offensive in so many ways. People are touchy, loud, the roads are dirty and filthy, there's no semblance to alone time or privacy, the food is severely oily, spicy, unhygenic and the water is disease laden. Truly, if I start to list all the faults and shortcomings of india, I would not stop. My friends who have lived here their whole life say that given a choice they would always come back to the land of their forefathers or some bullshit, I just cannot understand or wrap my head around it.

Women here just do not consider the option of prostitution, even if they are in severe poverty [as is the case with over half the population]. They would rather sell their uterus or kill their families off and then themselves than consider such a think. This kind of news appears once every few days.

And for those of you who enjoy the other sinful pleasures in life, the cigarettes here are a real rough drag and leave stains on your fingernails and teeth within a week of starting to smoke them, and the booze tastes like [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] water, and foreign booze, like a good scotch, while available at bars in 5-star hotels, probably cost as much as in bars in foreign countries. BTW, when I say foreign countries, I'm referring to western countries.

In short, mongers, please, please, please DO NOT waste your money coming to india for a sex holiday. Or better yet any kind of holiday, period. My home town here is a popular tourist spot, and even though I admit that it is one of only two places in india I visited that I like, the prices charged there, especially for tourists, is a complete rip off.

While there is an Indian brother on the line I must pose a question. But let me start off with a scenario.

The other night on Walking Street I saw the funniest damn thing. There were two Indian guys walking with a Thai woman. One guy had his arm around her waist and the other had his arm around her shoulder. If only I had had my camera ready. I was thinking there are plenty of women to go around. Why doesn't the other guy get his own woman?

So why is it that when I see Indian brothers in Pattaya they are always ganging up on the girls? There is never a one-on-one thing. They are always in groups of two or more trying to pick up or with one girl.

Not an Indian guy here.....but let me throw down a possible answer.....Indian guys can buy a fairly low priced tour package to Thailand and stay together....many in the same room.....trying to save lodging and food costs (this is not a "cheapness" issue....just one of not having a huge amount of surplus money) . Possibly a two for one deal with the girl for the budget conscious has been accomplished....and she actually is both of their "girlfriends"??

A lot of the girls in Pattaya come there to work the sex game (as do their Thai boyfriends).....so there are a lot of professionals around (with a drug addicted, possibly bi-sexual boyfriend).....but of course there are many girls working in shops and other non sex commercial establishments.....the only problem is that they see what the working girls have....and possible see the farang as a means to this end.....so great relationships are hard to come by.

2. You can definitely find darker skinned girls in Pattaya......even negro looking ones......

3. Eden Club Pattaya was closed after the French owner's (Marc) partner in the venture suddenly died. I don't think there is any connection now between the Devil's Den and BKK Eden.....although there is a similar format.

I am not a cheap Charlie and buy far too many lady drinks. OK now I have made that statement I can tell you what happened last night, it was around midnight and I was heading back to my hotel. I had been drinking all day but not drunk, I stopped at a bar for 1 last drink before hitting beach road for a take away (Beach road was very busy many girls) sat at the bar and started talking to an older lady, she was very easy to talk with and a good rack for her age. I finished my beer and decided to ask her to accompany me, I paid the 80 baht for the drink and 300 barfine. The cashier then said she couldn't leave until I bought her a lady drink, as I had too much beer I didn't want to hang around so the bar fine is not 300 but 450, she never asked for a drink whilst we were chatting, if she had I would have bought her one gladly. To make a point I got my 300 baht back and walked so the bar lost 300, I will probably go back tonight and buy her a lady drink but not bar fine her this will probably confuse them even more!

The reason that it isn't on their website is that it's an outside vendor that they rent space to. It opened a year and a half ago when their tower #2 opened, and they were having a special promotion for guests at NP. I tried one of their deluxe spa packages...I think it was 3 hours for 2000 THB, and it included a milk bubble bath, a body scrub, and an oil massage. A VERY nice experience, and of course the usual upsell options were offered including HE. Of course I paid the special service to the girl in cash.

I had asked before I went there if I could charge it to my room, and of course they said yes, but when I went to check out a week or so later, the NP manager on duty insisted that I pay the spa bill separately, in cash. Well, I explained that they said it could be added to my hotel bill, and that I had already changed all my THB back to USDollars. He was a very unpleasant man, but he had no choice but to add it to my bill because that was the only way he was going to get paid.

BTW, I was a long time customer of the NP hotel, and I had spent over 80 nights there over 4 visits, but after that occasion I will never go back. There are SO many better hotels that actually know the meaning of "Customer Service"

I was under the impression that bar fines and lady drinks are de rigeur and unavoidable.

That being said, let me try to answer your question, mr enternational. Here in india, it is not uncommon for men to hold hands while walking down the street, or for them to link pinky fingers or for them to sit on each others lap while in crowded trains or buses. Indian men are quite touchy feely with other men that they know well. Handshakes between two male friends sometimes last half the duration of the converstaion. I find this extremely funny, and not to mention put off [uncomfortable, I'm not a homophobe] by it, as the indian nation as a whole is extremely homophobic, and homosexuality is considered a sin, and [almost] a crime worthy of stoning. Theres a stand up comedian who makes fun of this. Russel peters in red, white and brown; a canadian born and raised indian.

Lover boy #2, you do make a vaild point, and that is one of many possible reasons. However, indians are misers, so it may not just be a budget restraint issue.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the standard of living in india is quite low, the daily wages for a labourer come to around $7 a day, I think. I know for a fact that [with todays exchange rate], a mba qualified worker starts off in a bank at $6110 per year. Of course, there are those who earn a lot, as seen in the world richest list consisting of, I think, two indians.

I'm pretty sure that the indians that do come to Thailand are those that work in foreign countries, and while they may earn a lot when compared to those in india, they generally have families that they support. The concept of leaving home and standing on your own two legs is unfamiliar here. Men get married and still live with their parents unless circumstance force them to move out or away, family is everything.

Men and women have no physical contact here, its taboo. Even husbands and wives don't touch each other in public, I cannot comment on their home lives, but I don't think its very different. Sex is generally seen a a tool for reproduction only, and not a pleasurable activity. Most married couples have sex only to have kids and they usually do so within the first year of marriage. So it could just be that the second dude was starving to touch a lbfm until he had found his own. LOL.

cheapest option is if you have a phone you can tether or a 3g dongle, then buy a truemove sim card. 599 baht a month gives you unlimited 3g.

it's about 1.5-2mbps download, 300-400k upload. similar to adsl 2mb package.

if you're interested in hutch, i suggest going into their store next to tukcom and talking to them instead of going off the info on the website. the speeds might be slower than you expect from what you read, and sometimes they make you pay a year up front, etc. if you're facing tukcom on pattaya tai, turn left (east) and cross the small street, go about 30 meters, it's a really small store on the right. they might have evdo packages cheap. that's usually 1-1.5mbps down, but 0.05kbps up, so you can't skype on it. it only works in pattaya/jomtien area, and will not work in bangkok.

There is no 3G in Thailand. A court has blocked the concession bidding by the the telecommunication authority (I would be digressing).

So whatever it is, 2 or 2.5, etc it's not 3G, that is still far away.

Arrived very early around 12:30, not many girls around, the ones that were there were putting on make up, doing their hair etc. Had a quiet beer in the 2nd bar form the end next door to the bee, relaxing and able to watch them all arrive for their shift. Moved onto the Full Moon and met an 18 year old who called herself kik, very petite and just last night had her tongue pierced, she was quick to point out it helps her blowjob. See my report in Pattaya Hotels about Nova Gold - right around the corner from Platinum - nice property but the staff is downright rude.
