Momojiriemaki in Takadanobaba
Recently took a trip to Takadanobaba, because I still miss Paprika.First I tried following the internet directions to Baba-king (www.baba-king.com), right around the Waseda exit to Takadanobaba station. I followed the arrows exactly, and tried the phone number-- no answer. Does anybody know if this service is even running? Their website seems to be updated regularly, but no one seems to be home. Then, as a fail-safe option, I turned around and walked up to Momojiriemaki, across the street from the Waseda exit to Takadanobaba station. It is exactly where prior reports have placed it, in the alley across from Takadanobaba station, on the right side, with the kanji "bijin" sign and the stairs upward. I would suggest to newcomers to be careful not to go straight up the stairs and forward into the fashion health on the third floor-- it is more expensive than Momojiriemaki. Momojiriemaki is on the third floor, but you have to make a you-turn to get to their door. That said, Momojiriemaki is for real, but it is sadly a few steps down from Paprika. I paid my money, got my card stamped, and asked for "Nana". I was told I would have to wait an hour. Fine, whatever, I had some stuff to keep me busy in the waiting area. When I got called for her, though, she was easily 10-15 years older than her picture. Worse, she was completely not into it, and even WORSE, had a cold. She kept up the phony patter the whole time, asking me in a little-girl voice if she could eat my d---, etc. I was pretty turned off. Worse than that, after we were done (very quickly), she quickly got dressed and stood up, like she couldn't wait for me to leave. Now I know, for a fact, that the girls at this establishment are supposed to give you a perfunctory massage after the FS-- but not this girl. She was so rushed and impatient, I ended up hurrying out too, not wanting to be around this waste of time. So, bottom line, Momojiriemaki gets the job done, at a price that can't be beat, but is definitely a few steps down from Paprika, if that's possible.
