I rent AirBnB's on all of my trips to Medellin. My first trip I stayed in El Poblado and the last 5 trips Laureles. There are tons of Bars in Laureles on the Setenta although getting a place too close to the Setenta would be really noisy until around 4:00 am. I usually try to be around 6 blocks away from the action. Make sure you vette your AirBnB and make sure they are guest friendly before reserving.
