Bogota experience getting better
I recently spent a few days in Bogota on 2 occasions and had a blast both times. My experience was similar to many of the posts here, especially to what GringoItaliano just posted, so I won't go into details on the chicas, but rather more on general info.
I spent time in downtown Santa Fe area, in those high end clubs in the North around Parque 93, and casas in Chapinero. I went to Santa Fe on my first day, and hired Woodman to tour me around. I am no stranger to Bogota and speak Spanish, but decided to play safe. Santa Fe could be intimidating to many people, me included, so hiring Woodman was a good decision and well worth it. Woodman was nice enough to even split the 4-hour appointment I had into 2-2 hour periods, 1 during the day and 1 at night just to make sure that I saw the RLD in different hours. After his tour and I learned more about the lay of the land, I was able and felt comfortable to frequent the RLD a few more times alone, of course with lots of care.
Accomodation.
I stayed my first 2 nights at an airbnb apartment in a brand new building in downtown about 15 min. Walk from the RLD. The following 2 nights I stayed in Ibis Museo for $37/ night. I did take a Lido girl to the airbnb place, but will never do that again. The security and receptionist of the building gave you very strange looks when you walk in with a prostitute. Remember this is a high end apartment in Colombian standard, although nothing luxury to me, we are not their preferred residents.
Ibis on the other hand is a little closer from RLD with more amenities and the convenience of a hotel. Around the hotel there are also many small eateries and coffee shops. National Museum is right next door if you are into history. This is a good value, well-run BUSINESS hotel and will be a good base if Santa Fe is your main focus. Though I never brought back any girl for the 2 nights I stayed there, I heard it is GF. I booked for double, and the young guy who checked me in saw me alone at check-in reminded me that any visitor to the room had to register at the front desk. I guessed it is not a rare practice from guests who stayed here.
On my last night before departing, I stayed at the infamous Tequendama Hotel where the wife and family of Pablo Escobar lodged at one point while negotiating deals with the authority. This hotel is not GF, so don't embarrass yourself of doing so. Once a grand hotel in its early days, the hotel itself now is very dated and rooms were very noisy with all passing car traffic. Even the hotel tried very hard to please, with other better options of accommodation around, I will not come back to this hotel either.
I also spent a total of 5 nights in 2 different hotels in Chapinero while exploring all the casas in the area. First 2 nights in a boutique hotel on Calle 66 and la Septima, and 3 more nights in Hilton Chapinero. The tight security in both places obviously made it very difficult and embarrassing to sneak up a girl if not preregistered with you. Worth mentioning is that while nicer and more upscale, the Hilton offers very competitive weekend rate including breakfast.
As I posted before, in Bogota, airbnb places don't really provide convenience for bringing back girls. There are security and reception at the entrance of every building. More often at a good building, you also have to register the girl, so you have the same walk of shame and hassles as staying in a hotel. Hotels at least provide faster response to any request you might have, and is more comfortable in many aspects. In the cold nights in Bogota, you naked ass won't be freezing in the middle of the night. I strictly chose hotels after my first 2 nights at the Airbnb place.
Chicas.
Though I had only got to know Santa Fe a short while ago, it became my new favorite playground in Colombia, and I had been to all 4 major Colombian Cities numerous times. I kicked myself for not visiting Santa Fe much earlier. I had doubts about girl quality before my trip, but the experience proved the concern wasn't necessary. All my encounters in Santa Fe were with girls between 7. 5-8 in my scale, similar to the ones I found in those high-end Northern clubs. I even saw a couple 8. 5's. As a reference, I rate most girls in Lido 7. 5- 8 with occasionally 8. 5's. Though less in #'s those 7. 5 and above, they are there, enough for you to enjoy a short trip without repeating or competing with other bros to get their attention. Almost all girls I met were very engaging, of course after careful screening and some small talks.
While in Santa Fe, I only used the onsite rooms twice, once at a corner club that I don't remember the name when I arrived on my first day with a fresh on board young Venezolana, and the other at the day time club Atunes. After further experiences in Santa Fe. I would suggest the use of short term motels in the area, and pay for more time with the Chicas. You will get much better experience than a quickie on site aside from a cleaner, more confortable room with running hot water, no walk of shame or strange look from anybody and no worry about girls stealing your belongings. Among many other advantages. And the girls love taking hot shower with you joining in. They cost of the motel room about 30-45 k for 4 hours, and every girl knows which one to go. I pulled 4 girls out of different clubs in Santa Fe, one at 160 k after hard negotiation, 2 at 200 k and the highest one at 250 k for a 19 yrs old Venezolana who looked like an American teenager fresh out of high school. All 4 stayed the whole 2 hours section. All 4 girls were young and very beautiful, and gave me incredible GFE with DFK and BBBJ. I also found the girls are very open to negotiation of what you have in mind. The best thing was, no salida for the club girls when you take them to the nearby motels. Some would say they had to pay the club, not true. They all know how to avoid it. And it looked to me that they all come and go as they wish.
While in Chapinero, and while mostly tried to recuperate myself at a more serene neighborhood, I also went to a few casas nearby including recently discussed Rosaquilla on Calle 64 and Carrera 16 A. In general, quality in these casas was a notch down than what you can find in Santa Fe. Or I should say, the 7. 5 and above are many less in #'s. The best I had were a couple girls at 7. 5, and this was after scrolling quite a few casas in a few days. Most girls in these casas were well below 6. The 2-7. 5's I had, one form Rosaquilla and one from el Angel Azur, were both wonderful GFE's with long passionate DFKs, BBBJ's. The girl from Rosaquilla still initiates whatsapp messages with me till now. I had another 2 good sections in these casas, but not as memorable as the 2 steamy ones mentioned. One drawback about these casas is the rooms on site really are not desirable. But for 70 k-80 k an hour, what more can you ask? Again, I met with the Rodaquilla girl the next day at a motel right next to the casa for 3 hours after her shift, 52 k for the room, and 200 k for her, roughly $90 and she delivered one of my best experiences in Bogota.
I did return to my old playground in the North, Lido twice and Juan Pablo Zhivago once. Went to Lido on a very slow raining night after exploring Santa Fe with Woodman, and every girl complained the lack of customers. An old amiga remembered me and came by to say Hi. I heard some ridiculous offers by the chicas and was not going to pay that. So just got the contact # from a very attractive tall morenita at 1. 73 m who not only has beautiful face, but also incredible body figure and a bubble butt. I found out that she lives in the South of Bogota, so invited her to my bnb apartment in downtown the next night. We agreed for P450 K. She came over at 7 PM and stayed till the next morning. Having learned that more economical options in Santa Fe after the first day, the second time I went to Lido and to Juan Pablo Zhivago a few days later, I just relaxed and chilled even I did click with a chica at Juan Pablo Zhivago, but decided to pass at the end.
The Rest.
While taking a coffee break one day in Santa Fe, I stroke up a conversation with this small convenient store owner and his friend. The friend claimed that he works at a club in Zona Rosa, and was telling me that girls in the Northern clubs are "cleaner", because they went through health exams more regularly mandated by the clubs while in Santa Fe RLD, none is required. But for himself, he can only afford a quickie with girls in Santa Fe. I don't know how true to his statement? What I do know now is, if you don't mind the seedy neighborhood and can deal with the characters around you, Santa Fe offer much better selections and value. The 2 blocks where most of the famous clubs located are not that dangerous like the rest of the RLD. If you taxi in and out and only walk these 2 short blocks with care, you should be fine. The motels are all within very short walk from the clubs.
Different from my previous trips, the altitude didn't bother me as much, but the weather did. It rained the most days while I was there, making it bothersome to walk around, especially when I was in Chapinero moving from one casa to another. I didn't study the weather pattern in Bogot before arrival, but heard from locals that some months rain more than others. So avoid the raining season can be a better idea.
My trips to Colombia just got better and better each time. Before I would rate Medellin as equal destination to Bogota, but now with the added knowledge and experience of Santa Fe, I'the say Bogota comes out ahead. I wouldn't say "Bogota is off beaten path" as GringoItaliano put it in his post. It is such an immense city that one just easily been ignored. So many economical options with good quality girls in Santa Fe make Bogota one of the best destinations for this sport. Santa Fe definitely is not for everybody. The possession of language skill certainly plays a big part of your experience here. Caution should be applied at all time, and never let your guard down. Although unfortunate incidents were not common but did happened, it only took once to ruin your trip and experience, worst yet if it involves any physical injury. I have been to Tijuana, and for comparison, I felt less easier in Santa Fe, even nervous in some parts of the Santa Fe RLD.

I'll be in Bogota in 3 weeks. Should I plan on carrying a sign around Santa Fe that says "Are you Woodman?" What you describe below is exactly what I was looking forward to.
I speak decent Spanish, and mongering isn't new to me. Bogota is and so I would really like to hit SF with an experienced hombre for the 1st run.
