That was actually in Goldehands, which is a spa or maybe you guys are more familiar with the term "sauna". Yeah we do have macau-ish type sauna, the difference is that you choose by numbers not directly in Macau.

They were nabbed for a night stay in jail because recently there was a strict rule of no nude striptease but this place keep having them.

I haven't checked whether they are still having the dancers or not after the incident, but I was told by the manager that none of the spa-girls are taken. Oh yeah, the freelancers that they usually have are also taken.

BTW this is one of the classiest place for sauna, second only to SunCity in my book, the pools are tremendous.

Most girls will do FJ, but some won't. The rate is about 300. 000 Rupiah for a 90 mins session + about 500. 000 for FJ. (50-100k for HJ)

The Jakarta Globe states it is the Golden Hands hotel. I looked at the hotel website and figured out that it's a bordello desiring to replicate Alexis or Sun City I guess.. Looks like it's a new entry in the business. Obviously they haven't paid up where they ought to. JAD should be able to enlighten further, the true inside story.

I am heading to Jakarta this weekend for a couple of days, as its my first trip will check out blok M and also red square, and a spa during the day.

As I have had a good read through this great forum before hand I am confident I will have a blast. I am mindful of the bad traffic, so am unsure where to stay, wanting something 5 star and there seems to be good options, just not sure where I am best to be so I don't have to spend half my trip in a cab.

You may find the odd spinner during a Saturday night at Blok M but it's mostly packed with hardnened hookers these days. Red Square although I have picked up from there is a shadow of its former self. Both places are quite empty during weekdays. The real good places are up in Kota.

I would recommend Alila (Jl Pecenongan Kav 7-17) which is close to Classic Hotel and Malioboro. Also (yes) The Sultan. It's not too far from anything and in-house is possible and acceptable. (PM me for details!) Le Meridien or Shangri La are also on the list. Traffic is going to be hit-or-miss in any case. If you can move, try one of the Blok M hotels when you want to monger there (Ambara is within walking distance) and then move. I hope this helps and we look forward to your reports. TTG

I was in Jakarta around New Years, and I never got around to posting my review, so I figured I'd do that now.

I was in town for Five Nights, and I tried to make the most of it, really.

First night, I arrived late, so nothing really happened. I grabbed some food from my hotel's room service and then crashed out for the next day.

Second day, I met up with a girl from a dating website, and we went and had some lunch, caught a film, and had a coffee. It was an alright way to spend the day, but she had to go meet up with her family so nothing happened from that before. She was a wealthy girl, and paid for everything, so there is that.

Second night, I headed down to Sportsman's to watch the Liverpool match, and it was fairly quiet in there. There was a few cute bartenders, and I was flirting heavily with one them, I think her name was Nisa. She was pretty hot, and 22, and had a good little body. She seemed a lovely girl, and we chatted a bit, and I agreed to come meet her outside Sportsman's after her shift. I went down to Top Gun, and I enjoyed the band, and a few drinks, and some company of the foreign guys for a laugh, and then headed back to meet up with her. If you are looking for a bordello where you pay for sex by the hour and don't establish much of a conversation or relationship with the girl, Kota is great. The girls are young and prices are cheap. Blok M and Red Square are much more likely places to find the latter mentioned. I will say though that the last time I visited Blok M, I didn't see even a single stunner. But I left by 11:30pm that night so things weren't hopping yet. The last time I went to Red Square, the only hot girls were the sexy dancers that were paid to entertain the people there. But I have seen stunners there in the past. I think the best looking girls can be found at X2 and Dragon Fly. But they aren't as easy to pick up in those places.

If you go to Block M before 11pm you might not see anyone this place don't get going until after Midnight, most girl at Red Square are not pro just girl out have a good time and freebie are possible, you are right Jarkata have alot to offer to everyone at noon, night and after midnight.

I was quite frequent to Jakarta till 2010 & a regular visitor to Stadium. Music used to be great & also occasionally you cud find amazing chicks who can they go with you for 300000 rupiah for an hour. Am in Jakarta after 15 months next week. Was wondering if stadium is still the same or any alternative suggestions.

Just a bit of advice, Try to go around 3 PM just before rush hour or 6 PM (with Taxi) as there are 3 person minimum car rule imposed at 16:30. 19:00 and taxis can use those lanes which helped traffic considerably. Try as bad as you can to use Blue Bird and tell the driver to use any means necessary to avoid traffic. .

However the traffic after 8 PM is not as bad as described.

Would recommend Alila for the excellent rooms, or try Alexis. The room is nice, they have a nice club at ground level (a few Caucasians tho, not as much as Red Square, however this is one of the few place in town that has Striptease now ever since the tough crackdowns on stripteases performance in any place.) The 3rd Floor is Karaoke. And The 5th floor is some sort of Massage / Red-rope-shangai-esque service place. And the 7th floor is the infamous Bathouse which is the classiest bordello in town. The access to Kota from Alexis is also easy, but its far from Sudirman / or Senayan area. Even further away to Blok M.

M-Star is a not-quite-so-new one-stop entertainment place. 300k or 550k a pop, with free facilities and they even have a massage place which I never use, and REALLY near Alexis. Think of it like Classic Terminal with fewer choice and crowd.
