The problem seems to be many genuinely seem to lack the skills (and / or willingness) so however much one pays won't make them better all of the sudden. No, all that crap you have read and all those youtube videos about it are just bullshit like 90% of everything you rad on the internet. Stuff like socks, liquor, and quite possibly shower heads are to found there at competitive prices. And its a fun place to be for about an hour. Then it gets dark, the shops start to shut down, and then it starts to get nasty. Real nasty.

Yes, there are people selling their bodies in parts of centro. These include skanky addicts, hideous trannies, gays, older broads as well as some girls who are way too young to be on the streets. And I do mean way too young to be doing what they are doing. And you don't want any part of that. In short, what you will see is mostly people (not necessarily female) who couldn't work in a casa the cita and didn't have the means, the brains or the body to work as a prepago. Yes, I have seen a few cute girls in some doorways, but I have always seen better in the options that any first world person can afford. Colombia is full of beautiful women and there is no reason to to screw around with cheap skanks. And then there is the filthy, street scum that spots you and hollers, "Gringo! Once again, there is no significant mongering scene in Centro nor are there a bunch of prostitutes hanging around Parque Lleras. Really.
