Had a night in Bamboo with my regular, drinks about 100 baht each but a good band. Had a great time, different from the normal routine of picking a bar or agogo, lots of decent looking women in the place prowling for victims. Not sure of the pricing arrangements but you don't need to pay a bar fine. The band played YMCA and the dance floor was full of 50-60 year old John Travoltas making real cunts of themselves but who cares great laugh.

Went back a couple of nights later with 4 ladies I bar fined from the same bar, when I told them I was going dancing virtually the whole bar wanted to come, I said I would take no more than four. I have never had my cock stroked as much as they were desperate to come. Walked in Bamboo like James Bond 2 girls on each arm, treated like royalty by the staff there, Thailand is all about status my status must have looked good. Got shit loads of attention from girls who weren't in my "party" they must have thought something was going on and they wanted to be part of it.

It's just a friendly advice, but IMHO, things should be clarified beforehand. The more, the better. Any single thing that is not specified clearly enough may be the source of some trouble later. But you should give the benefit of the doubt to your provider, and if you haven't been specific enough, just pay the agreed amount. But these days the scene in Pattaya is so huge it could swallow the entire 7th Fleet and not even burp. I always tell people not even to worry about it.

Exactly. I mean when I was there earlier this year (or maybe it was last October) the COBRA operations were going on. You'd see some well-behaved young gentleman walking around (always escorted) and actually, I don't think the stereotype that they all "participate" is accurate.

I think they walk around and gawk at the girls and I'm sure some partake, but I don't think it's like 95% of them are all screwing multiple girls in Pattaya. In fact, I'd say the percentage that participate is much smaller than most people think.

Anyway, there's so many thousands and thousands of girls in Pattaya that it doesn't even make a noticeable dent these days.

I've heard that the sailors are pretty well behaved these days, is this the case?

i think its the aircraft carrier george washington (and presumably support vessels) that is in town, and you are right the impact is relatively marginal.

times are changing and power / influence and money is slipping from north america and europe to more recently developing nations. anyone who has not been to pattaya for a few years is in for a big shock, the ethnicity of its patrons is changing so fast.

the clientèle of the upmarket gogos is now dominated by chinese, the discos and dance areas by russians and beach road and walking street by large groups of indian and iranian guys mostly trying to negotiate 2-5 guy for 1 girl type deals. as far as i can see this has led to a significant deterioration in the average quality of beach rd girls who now apart from the **** girls look very used and tired.

That's absolutely the case. They walk around with "adult" chaperones. And very clean cut types. Professional looking. I don't even think there's many that partake. It's more just a walking around and looking and having a beer. Oh, I'm sure some do, but it's not like the "old" days in any way, shape, or form.

I really don't like the "gentrification" of soi 6. Too many gogo type places springing up. There are plenty of those already. We need another 6 soi sixes.
