The second type generally know better, but get careless. They trust a girl because they've seen her before, or a friend recommended her. They start partying and forget about the risks.

Just because you meet a girl in person doesn't mean she's safe.

Different folks, different strokes. Casas are great for some. Safe, secure and you're in and out with no fuss. Having a girl in your room is more intimate, less rushed. There's always a trade off.

1. Spa Fantasias Energy Medellin (Cra. 74 #101 49, Laureles. Estadio): Relatively up-scale ambiance; usually 10 to 15 chicas (with matching, individually numbered chemises for the benefit of mongers with short-term memory issues). It's been a while but I recall pricing last year in 175 mil range for 45 minutes or an hour. On the whole, I haven't found the quality to be much better than Zandalay or New Life--but on occasion you'll spot one or two in the line-up who are way much better looking than I've ever seen in those El Centro casas. I live nearby in Laureles and have dropped by often over the last several years, but have only taken a chica to a room twice--in part because the few super hot ladies I interviewed wouldn't do DFK or BBBJ even for a good propina.

2. Loutron (Calle 16 a Sur #9 E 500). By some reports a former Pablo Escobar manse. In a somewhat remote location. I've only visited twice. Way more upscale physical set-up than in El Centro. And definitely hotter looking chicas on the whole than to be bedded at the other casas, albeit a relatively small selection on my visits (only 4 or 5 available). Pricing closer to La Isla's. Again, I passed in part because the chicas of my choice would not provide the DFK / BBBJ extras in exchange for an offered tip. But worth one visit, if only as a louche tourist attraction.

Like you, I would like to believe that there are some other high end casas that, for some reason, haven't received mention on this board or made World Traveller's (service to humanity) mapped compilations. Also I haven't found web platforms for the kind of highly selective escort services (such as one can find in LA, NYC, Las Vegas) that boast a highly curated roster of playmate / victoria secret / porn star quality women on offer. Way to pricey for me back in the USofA ($1,000 plus per hour rates) but here, if such services exist, they should be relatively affordable for many (if not most) of us, at least on special occasion (a birthday gift to oneself).

If anyone reading this knows of such places, please do chime in.

Not sure what you mean by 'legit' either. What would be legit and what would be illegit?

There is also the time and effort to get to Medellin. After all that, saving a few bucks doesn't seem as important as seeing the girls that you want and having a good time. That doesn't mean that we are willing to pay $200 US for an hour but it may mean that we are willing to pay the extra $10 or $20 US to see the girls that we want without much hesitation. At least that is way it is with me. Often it is that amount that may come between an agreement with the girl and I don't let it deter me if I want to see that girl.

If you are an expat living in the city, it is different circumstances and you may be on a tight budget.

There are plenty of agencies and girls on photoprepagos who will take as much money as you feel the need to give them. Some of them are pretty good in my opinion and others not so much. Ellas Erotics two location are among the more popular six figure 1/2 hour places around town.

You can also pay exorbitant amounts hoping someone else, that does not know you from a can of paint, can deliver your idea of fun. I would rather take the chance at making my own fun that to shell out a bunch of money and be disappointed.

I think you captured it well. I don't know how scientific a sample it is but me and the other foreigners I know who live here are not at all on tight budgets. In my experience it is not an either / or sitaution. There are extreme examples of foreigners who live on the streets and panhandle to survive. I hope they are outliers. So-called weekend millionaires catch a lot of flak on the Internet and I don't think it's fair to them. As long as they don't create unsafe situations for themselves or for others I think they should spend as much of their money however they like. I know I spend more when I leave town for short trips. It's all good.

By high end I mean 22-27, good looking, willing to do complete GFE.

By legit I mean the Casa is safe, the ladies are all of legal age, and the ladies don't have ulterior motives to rob me.

There's always a trade off.[/QUOTE]The women are so beautiful and sweet there. I look back on it and it feels like a dream. When they speak Spanish it sounds like a song. I could easily end up in group 2. I talked to ladies about Scopalina and I didn't get any inclination that they were involved in that at all.

Last thing I wasn't rushed at New Life. I think I could have stayed there for 3 hours if I wanted to. I think they had beer. It was a blast and it was probably the best sex I've ever had. Plus the lady was very nice. I tipped her and then she gave me a discount or something because I got change back at the window. The ladies I brought back to my room were great but it was my room with all of my valuables in a safe. On balance I'the go with less intimacy and more safety.

Guys a lot of you are worried about these posts about robberies and spiked drinks etc, here's my thoughts and observations. This applies for longer stays like mine but.

1. most girls you'll see and meet and take home in or from the Parque Llearas are same girls you see every night and you see their friends every night = this is very unlikely she will rob or spike your drink at home.

2. same goes for the girls in Gusto and other clubs surrounding this area. There are cameras and the cops will find and catch them.

3. if your building has security and checks this is very unlikely she will rob you and run away. Some building staff will require you to escort her out on her way out.

4. if your apartment does not have the guards, there will likely be multiple gates and keys to get inside; if she does not leave your apartment she is not likely to get her friends to go in and rob you.

5. if you meet a girl online (tinder / etc) make sure to get her online social profiles. Save some of her photos, take photos of her or together with her.

6. having a company at home (2 or more guy friends) will make a huge difference in safety and even girls attitudes.

7. don't go to her apartment, don''t go to a bar/club that she offers

8. never leave sight of your beer/drink - goes wo saying

with all of the above, we hear about these events but they are quite rare considering there are thousands of foreigners out every single night. If you get robbed or spiked, you can find local friends and police will look for them if you have anything to present.

I would not feel safe following your rules. The girl can score once and lay low until you leave to reappear. Just by reading reports, we know that is not safe. Colombia is a poor country so life is cheap, they don't have the resource to capture criminals even when we may consider easy. That is why you see mongers try to capture the criminals themselves and that actually shows how easy it is to capture them. Basically these events go against some of your rules or assumptions.

Depending on your definition of "complete GFE", your chances of finding it at any casa are slim.

You've got 30-60 minutes to explain everything you expect, reach an agreement on how much more it will cost and get her interested in putting some effort into it. That's not going to be easy.
